That’s it really! Nice quality large leather purse up to £250.

My current purse is Aspinal but I fancy a change, I’ve seen this one I like at Strathberry but haven’t bought from them before. Anyone know what the brand is like, is it like an Aspinal equivalent quality wise?

It’s lovely, but do you use cash. And would the clasp get on your nerves. I like leather to soften with use.

@Mintyt it is the clasp that’s putting me off tbh. I can imagine it breaking or becoming loose. Give me a press stud or magnetic button any day.

However, I’ve been looking for about three months and it’s the first one I’ve seen that I’ve liked enough to consider it.

I’m happy with my budget choice. The long style I’ve linked to would be perfect. It’s the brand I haven’t bought before so I’d love to hear from anyone who has one or can recommend something similar.

Fossil purses are always worth a look op. They have great plentiful compartments and usually an inner and outer zip. The leather is top notch quality too.

It’s a bit tired @Mintyt . I also find that the lining wears out in Aspinal purses before the purse, hence wanting a new one.

In terms of quality, I have a Strathbury handbag and its really lovely leather and well made. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another product of theirs

Update .. after looking at my existing purse again at Aspinal they have changed the lining to suede which is fabulous as the moire silk used in my current one has really let it down, mind you it must be 9 years old.

So, I will order another one of the one I have. Thanks to @Mintyt, it really was your comment that made me look at it again.

I don't like bling or gold bits (not even keen on the gold Aspinal badge that makes an appearance on a lot of their current range) so another one of what I have got is perfect.

I like mywalit, not expensive, and great quality.

I've ordered this. In Fig pebble, plus my 2026 diary and another item, I'm happy with that. Really pleased about the suede lining as my frayed lining has been getting on my nerves for a long time.

I like the strathberry one but could see that the clasp could well be annoying. In my view it's one of those you'd ideally want to see in a store before purchasing. I do love their leather though and have a bah from them which is just beautiful quality. I also like the aspinal one you have gone for.

@Evergreen21 , yes, looks great quality but I couldn't imagine the clasp lasting a long time.

I've been looking for ages, couldn't find anything I really loved in my budget. I'd discounted my existing purse because of the lining and because I thought I wanted a change.

Very nice choice, much better in my opinion, I have a very similar style but a mulberry and I love it.

That's really lovely OP! Exactly the style of purse I like. I can't decide between the fig or the green one, but it's immaterial really as it's outside my budget.

My last 2 purses are Kate Spade

I've been using a zipped Radley one (dog free) for at least 10 years, and it still looks new! Just plain, smooth, red leather. I used to buy one roughly yearly before that one, which was a gift.

I have a green Michael Kors. Second one in ten years. It's in perfect condition. I need a zip as I still use coins in some car parks.

I get what you are saying about the lining on Aspinal. I have their bags and it gets mucky. Mulberry now use microfibte which I hate.

Glad someone still uses a purse. It's similar to some Mulberry purses.

I didn’t think of Mulberry tbh. Actually, the continental might have been better as it has 12 credit card slots but I’m not sure I could justify £375 to myself even though my budget was self imposed.

I do like my existing purse so hopefully the suede lining will make a difference. I’d hate a microfibre lining @Lucelady, great for cleaning the kitchen, not what I want in a nice purse, looking for an acceptable lining has been part of my problem.

Anyway, I am happy, really pleased with 20% off too as it spurred me on to buy my diary and an Ella pouch.

I’ve got 3 Mulberry purses and they are lovely. (I may have a problem) 🤣
