Fussy deodorant?

Hi,

Thinking of replacing my Mitchum for this? Are they any good?

They are if you solely want a deodorant; I personally need antiperspirant too so it wasn’t for me.

RobinTheCavewoman · 30/10/2025 06:45

I really like it! For the first couple of weeks of using it, I woke up with sweaty pits but now it's no different to using any standard deo. I had to use a normal deodorant when I ran out of Fussy and OMG the stinging! There are lots of discount codes online.

Zelda93 · 30/10/2025 06:48

I tried the fussy switching from Mitchum which I have used for 30years. It’s was nice but after a few weeks I noticed I had BO which I do not get with Mitchum so changed back.

Mayflower282 · 30/10/2025 06:49

Mitchum makes me so itchy nowadays, it’s a shame because it use to be brilliant.

PerfunctoryFunk · 30/10/2025 06:50

I’ve tried quite a few deodorants (as opposed to anti-perspirants) and Fussy is the best by miles. They do a sensitive range without bicarb in. I also like the environmental aspect of the refills and the subscription system is very easy to use if you want to change dates, fragrance etc.

NutellasKitchen · 30/10/2025 06:51

I love Fussy - I didn't click it wasn't an anti -perspiration for months. I'd never go back!

northernwinds · 30/10/2025 06:53

I really like Fussy and don’t plan to change. I am not very sweaty so it not being an antiperspirant doesn’t bother me.

The ads drive me absolutely bananas though and as much as it is a nice smell it is NOT Jo Malone as the ads claim! 😂

ImWearingPantaloons · 30/10/2025 06:56

Fussy is really good, and much better than Wild. Although it’s not an anti Perspirant I find I neither sweat nor smell (but used pitrok before so didn’t have any adjustment period that lots of people have)

Tamfs · 30/10/2025 06:56

I am another Mitchum to Fussy convert after I had a reaction to the bad Mitchum batch. I love it, I'm perimenopausal and haven't noticed any BO, which why I originally used Mitchum and the fussy fragrances are lovely. I have used it for about 8 weeks now. You can buy it on offer in Sainsbury's at the moment.

Maybe I will feel differently at the height of summer, but I don't mind interchanging fussy with something stronger then (not Mitchum, never Mitchum due to the little patch it has left under my arm!). I also started using bar soap under my arms as is often recommended on here, which probably also helped.

Cloudynews · 30/10/2025 06:58

I've been very impressed with Fussy after starting off so sceptical - I felt it could not possibly work. I trust now I'm not going to smell and been using about 6 months. Currently using the limited Candy cane scent and love it. I'm in bed now pre morning shower and still smell fresh and that was from 7am yesterday.

PerfunctoryFunk · 30/10/2025 07:01

Just on fragrance, I don’t like all the scents and I’m narrowing it down through trial and error as to which ones I’ll have on repeat.

BCBird · 30/10/2025 07:06

I love it. I sweat a lot. It does the job. The only time I can smell any sweat in me is at the end of the day- suits me. I'm home by then. Like the fragrances too. Parma violets and Biscoff. Lovely

autumn1610 · 30/10/2025 07:08

did not work for me i absolutely stank! It was embarrassing they gave me a different scent to try I still stank. I smelt less not wearing anything horrendous honestly

Gettingbysomehow · 30/10/2025 07:28

I love it but then I hardly ever sweat. If you sweat a lot it won't work.

curious79 · 30/10/2025 07:29

i love it! So do daughters, my sister and her teen boy.

Very effective and great knowing you’re using something that is totally harmless and non plastic polluting

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 30/10/2025 07:33

I’m trialling Fussy after finishing my last Wild refill. Trial sizes. The minis are useful for travelling too.

Anyway, I’m 50 something, chubby and post menopausal. I exercise 3 times a week. It’s performed well so far. I’m trying to persuade the stinky teen boy to give it a go.

Making Waves is a natural deodorant and antiperspirant, highly rated by my friend.

Fussyâ„¢ Natural Deodorant - Minis

Size doesn't matter. Same 100% natural, 100% effective formula just in mini size. Perfect for travel or to try some of our top smellers.

switchname · 30/10/2025 07:38

I rate both Fussy and AKT. AKT smells amazing - very high end but is pricier.

northernwinds · 30/10/2025 07:46

I love the scent of Wild but I found getting the refills into the case an absolute nightmare. It also stained my clothes.

LemonLeaves · 30/10/2025 07:56

I love it. Getting refills to go in was a bit of a nightmare until I realised that I hadn't been twisting the case right back to the bottom again - and taking the little "collar" off to push in the refill.

I like the fact that they are also stocked in supermarkets, as it means I can add a refill onto my weekly shop when needed, rather than having to have a separate order.

Lonemumallthetime · 30/10/2025 08:23

Thanks all, I wfh so not really around tons of people and can try it. I don’t sweat much so perhaps this will be a good option! Biscoff scent??? That’s a new one! Do they do sample kits to try scents out?

FourEyesGood · 30/10/2025 09:18

I’ve been using Fussy for a few weeks now, and I like it. I’ve got really sensitive skin so I started with the unscented one, but I actually like the sensitive coconut scented one better.

If I’m allowed to share it, I have a referral code for 50% off for new members. I don’t want to paste it here as it includes my name, but I’ll gladly DM it if anyone wants - just DM me.

Lonemumallthetime · 30/10/2025 09:27

Hows the parma violet one?

OP posts:
MasculineProviderEnergy · 30/10/2025 09:31

I've been using it for a couple of years, and quite like it. Parma violet scent is my
favourite. My underarms don't sweat much though.

I started using it when mitchum discontinued their unfragranced antiperspirant, and I can't bear the smell of their fragrances.

Placestogo · 30/10/2025 09:33

Ive been using Fussy for 4-5 months. Its ok, i like it is natural and not anti perspirant. I do tend to sweat a lot but somehow it has worked.
i do find it hard to remove it in the shower though. I feel i have to scrub my armpits a bit (not too much but more than usual deodorant). Sometimes i leave a day without it (if im WFH) just so my armpits can breathe.
i did buy a box with lots of different scent but to be fair the scents have all gone and it feels just like an unscented deodorant.
TBF i probably selected only very mild scents like rosemary or mint… not biscoff!! 😂

unsync · 30/10/2025 19:46

I went from Mitchum to Wild. I did try Fussy but prefer Wild.
