Yes I feel the same. I have my Harrods beauty and fragrance calendars plus I have bought bits I fancied from Vinted to add to them. Thought I was done until I saw the Jo Malone one was available at World Duty Free, so have hinted to DH that it would be a really good Christmas gift! Now I really don’t need any more advent calendars or beauty boxes…so why am I keeping my eye on any potential discounts?! 😐

Because you are a RHOBAC and you must see out the contract. No mid season quitters allowed.😂

I also started in August with the Harrods fragrance, and since then I feel like I've not stopped buying 🤣 I did start to have AC fatigue, but now I'm all excited again 🥳 both to buy more and to start opening them. Eeek... Not long now, which is good as I'm really struggling to resist the urge to just rip them all apart 🤣🎉🎆

I had actually planned to start one in November to cheer myself up but missed the first couple of days, so I’ve decided that in December I’ll have my Harrods and JL BAC & my mixed HN/SNK fragrance one, and in January I’ll have my mixed HN/SNK BAC one.
That could of course all change and I go all out in December 😅

Writing it down I realise I went too far; how have I ended up with so many and I’m still looking at Selfridges/Fenwicks?! 🙈 Someone save me from myself 😅

@ThelifeofawifeI think I’ve gone a bit far too this year. But I’m starting to get very excited now there’s only three weeks to go!

Three weeks! When you say it like that @Growlybear83 it brings it home. Christmas is only 48 days away! What shall we do with the opening threads? Can we have a separate CIY (curate it yourself) BAC thread? @JoRaRaRa you should start that one 🤣. I find the waifs and strays so confusing anyway, the CIYBACs would have my head spinning. I think there’s enough people for a Liberty thread and a Harrods thread - any others?

Oh I feel really sad now that we'll all be splitting off into different groups. Can't we just all post in one thread? 😩 I'm a nosey cow anyway and will defo go onto all the others 🤣 I'm not organised enough to keep a thread going, it would crash and burn if I did it, I think it should stay with you, you've done such a good job of keeping these threads going for the last 6 months 🤣

I’ll be on waifs and strays with my M&S AC. Last year I was on Liberty. The threads are buuusssyy I don’t think they’d last a whole day if there was one opening thread!

I think it might be nice if we kept this thread going. There’s no reason why other people can’t have separate opening threads as well, but there haven’t been that many of us posting regularly and it would be a bit of a shame if we all separated into different groups 😕

I’ll keep this going until midnight 30th November and then it’s time to enjoy Christmas for me. All of us are on about four other S&B threads together! I’m on Liberty BD, Beauty offers and GWP and the scent one even though I keep trying to leave it

I've just realised after all these months of build up I'm not going to be able to join in on the 1st Dec. DH is having an operation in a city some distance from home on the 1st so I will have to have a belated start.

Silver lining - he won't be able to get upstairs for a while so if I set them up in the upstairs bedroom he won't know they exist. 🤔

I love this thread but I don’t want it to go on all year round. I need a break so I get excited for next year and so I can impose a buying ban/saving plan. I want to be fresh for 2026 BAC season. That discussion will start in June.

I need to be on a 'Use and enjoy what you have thread' for the next year or two years.

Apart from repurchasing staples that's what I need to stick to for most of next year. If I can use enough stuff up then I can hopefully start next advent season with some empty cupboard space.

Ive really enjoyed this years thread ! ive not posted much but kept up with the daily posts …ive not bought any BAC’s since my Harrods BAC / fragrance and Space nk ones …..which feels like ages ago now …I nearly bought SNK beauty luxuries edit but it sold out on me …but now feel there is one last hurrah in me but only if I get a BF deal …..Harvey nics fragrance im watching you ….on a side note I fear i’ve become a BAC enabler ….I did an unboxing video for my sister ages ago and she loved it so much she subsequently bought 7 AC’s !!! and she’s not even discovered the MN thread yet !
