My journey with the Perfume Society seems to have ended. I had an email the other day to explain about the box error and that the subscription box would be sent out on it's own. Today I've had an email to say they've cancelled the whole subscription and refunded. Kind of a shame as I was going to keep the sub for a while but whatever, I can't be bothered going back to sort it out right now.

My journey has also ended

I realised the extent of my addiction when I was looking at the TKMaxx website at 2 am this morning and found myself adding a cat toy advent calendar to my basket for my Wilfred 😆😆

In fairness, you only have a problem if Wilfred is your husband. If he's a cat, you're just being a thoughtful cat owner.

Can I ask a stupid question about the CB fragrance GWP? It says Floral and sweet … does this mean they are floral and sweet smells? I’ve been dithering over a basket for the last 24 hours but don’t know if it’s just FOMO. I’m not really into that kind of smells so if that’s the case I may be very strong and adult-y and delete the basket 😊

These are the scents. In general they are floral and fruity, yes.

Im glad you’ve finally got your refund @JoRaRaRa - it seems to have taken them ages to process it.

I only ordered the Cult fragrance stocking, and it arrived yesterday. I’ve been good and put it away in the wardrobe with everything else.

Here’s the goodie bag - I love it. Just added up the cost of the contents and now I love it even more!

There are two By Terry cc serums because there was already one in the bag and then I won another by spinning the wheel.
I might get my husband to randomly put the items in an old advent calendar and start my pradvent season now :)

In the store I went to, these were the opening day offers:

  • a mini goodie bag for the first 100 people, no minimum spend (I missed that one, don’t know what was in it).
  • the bigger goodie bags which were free with a £150 purchase. I think they had 200 of those - I got one with my advent calendar purchase.
  • a spin the wheel pot luck freebie with any purchase over £30 (I won the By Terry serum).

They were only while stocks last on the opening day though - I’ve just walked past again today and the shelf that had the goodie bags on is empty and the wheel has gone.

Yeah, it took them ages to reply, I did forget about it and should've really phoned them, but nevermind, it's all sorted now 😊

My CB fragrance stocking has arrived this afternoon, I like them all except EM01 which I've tried before and know I don't like. Now to wait for the makeup one 🤔

I bought two Pets at Home treat filled advent calendars this week. Not for my fussy madam as she wouldn’t deign to eat any of it but one for my local cat rescue charity to raffle and the other for them to share among their cats currently in rescue. They were bloody huge and I had to make two trips to the car with them.
