Actually my husband looks on in bemusement at advent calendars too 🤣. He’s appalled at my John Lewis BAC being used this month as my Badvent (birthday advent for a big birthday this month!).
And yes @keepincool I like the gentleness of this thread - the rest of mumsnet is fairly terrifying at times!

my husband is a bit bemused at times too. But I have to blame him completely for my addiction - I didn’t realise BACs existed until he bought me a Jo Malone calendar five years ago.

@LoveLabradors. I will have to hide Wilfred’s calendar in the wardrobe when it arrives. If it has any catnip toys inside, he has no self control and will break into it. He managed to get into his Christmas cracker before I could hide it away 😆

People who bought the Cult Beauty stockings - how big are they? CM length and width? Are they very soft to touch? https://www.cultbeauty.co.uk/c/christmas/ XMAS gives 15% off two. The 20% off codes that are floating about don’t seem to work on edits.

I've not bought the stockings but have had them in my basket. BDAY15 works on them if you just want one stocking plus it works on the rest of your basket if you are buying anything else.

I ordered as soon as they went on sale but I've not received them yet so I can't answer 🤷🏻‍♀️

I've had 2 of the 4 I ordered (two are for presents - maybe?!) and they are approximately 35cm long. The leg width is about 13cm, with the foot at 23cm wide, but that's rough measurements! Quite small, but good enough.
Lovely soft velvety feel too. You could re use them, but they do have Cult Beauty embroidered on the top.

I ordered the second two a few hours after the first and did get a message yesterday to say there was a delay in sending, but they are on their way now. They are definitely gift-worthy if you are planning to give them as presents, but also nice to keep!

My journey with the Perfume Society seems to have ended. I had an email the other day to explain about the box error and that the subscription box would be sent out on it's own. Today I've had an email to say they've cancelled the whole subscription and refunded. Kind of a shame as I was going to keep the sub for a while but whatever, I can't be bothered going back to sort it out right now.

I received an email yesterday apologising for the delay but they've still not been sent. I'm very impatient but even when they do arrive, I'm sending them back as I've reordered to get the gwp 🤣🤣

To be honest, the autumn box is terrible 🤦🏻‍♀️ not at all what I would call autumn scents. I'm really disappointed by it. If I'd not received the essence box for free, I'd be cancelling the subscription.

I've now (finally) had a refund for the Liberty glam kit that went missing off my door step. So at least that's that sorted 😊 I'm not going to reorder as I've spent so much money recently and really don't need it.

Yes, i must remember to cancel before they take another £22 in December, bit of a con taking £22 in November when it's advertised as £7 a month, its literally just a few tiny 2ml samples no wonder people thought the not-free essence box was free to get people to sign up.

I got 2, took a couple of days to arrive. Stocking are quite small i have no use for them and happy to send them on to anyone who wants them.

Can I ask a stupid question about the CB fragrance GWP? It says Floral and sweet … does this mean they are floral and sweet smells? I’ve been dithering over a basket for the last 24 hours but don’t know if it’s just FOMO. I’m not really into that kind of smells so if that’s the case I may be very strong and adult-y and delete the basket 😊

There are two By Terry cc serums because there was already one in the bag and then I won another by spinning the wheel.
I might get my husband to randomly put the items in an old advent calendar and start my pradvent season now :)

Did you get the essence box? I've just been sent info about 2 new boxes so I don't think they plan to cancel mine, but I wouldn't complain if they did 🤣
