Pretty nails and make up thread

Thought it'd be nice to have a thread to share when we're proud of our nails and make up.

These are my nails from my graduation yesterday. My first time using nail wraps so they're not perfect, but I'm happy with them.

I use the gel wraps, this is my third set and i love them! So easy.

Nope! Just a woman in her 40s who now has time to focus on herself after raising children, and thought a positive thread to share nails and make up would be nice! I dont think Im the only one that has some days where it all goes on really well and it's nice to have a place to share that. I get not many will post full faces of make up, but perhaps close ups of eye make up wouldnt be as identifying

Lovely nails. Where do you buy the wraps? My DD spends lots of time on her nails she uses a Mylee lamp and different polishes. I think this is something she'd enjoy. ( I don't use any nail products as cannot wear them at work)

I get my wraps from Lily and Fox, the Australia site, £1.99 and free shipping, though can take 2-3 weeks to arrive

I use Holy Grail Nails. They do gel wraps that need curing with a lamp as well as normal polish ones that you just stick on (which I use).

Yea my natural nails, they usually snap doing laundry/dishes etc but the gel wraps give them a big of extra strength thankfully 😂 xx

Mine are Lily and Fox too. Make sure you use the australian website not the american one so you don't get caught with customs.
@Avie29 mine are all different shapes and very weak also. Im trying to take care of them a little more though!

Lovely nails. Lily and fox - If I order on the au website am I safe from customs charges? It says free shipping on eligible orders, is there a minimum order? Thank you

@whereisit1 yes free from customs charges from the .au website, and free standard delivery which is around 3 weeks but can be a little quicker. You can pay for slightly quicker, but I think it's still around 2 weeks so probably not worth paying for. I paid for delivery and they were a bit delayed and the customer service was really good, they immediately refunded me the delivery charge and said they would raise an investigation into where it had gone. They realised that they had mistakenly sent it via their standard delivery so they sent me a voucher as an apology, and I wasn't shitty with them at all so they weren't appeasing me iykwim. The nails arrived 2 days later with a cute little origami fox and a letter from the packer, it was a nice touch.

I promise I don't work for them!! In fact, are there any other companies as decently priced that can deliver more quickly? I bought some in boots before I'd seen L&F and paid £15 for one set!!

Oh and they threw in a freebie set to practice with as well!
