I usually just imply that it's a gift for my husband and needs to be hidden 🤣 Which welcome gift fragrance did you go for?

I managed to get a 10% off skincare in John Lewis and it works with the calendar, but just had another look at it and there just isn’t enough in it to convince me. So a hard no for that and I’ll stick with my space nk. It’s a shame, I loved last year’s John Lewis but this year just isn’t a patch on it.

I'm also not getting JL - just bcs I don't get through eye cream so having three of them at once would stress me out! Also received a tech offer and not even tea & cake this month. Still hv the winter skin box sitting in my basket ..
LIB actually made me sit up and have a proper look, I like that it's a bit different .. if it goes under £100 I may grab it .. but means I'll have to go on TikTok which I find so stressful! 😂

Actually the skincare in LIB is heavily skewed towards oily skin so not going to work for me and my dried out peri complexion sadly

having reviewed a couple of lists today with an objective head on of what I would use, what I would like to try, and what would be straight in the donate / give to daughters pile, I’m going for the premium next one in addition to glossybox that I’ve already got.

Next (ha!) question … is there any way to get it cheaper than £185, or is it likely to be reduced? I can’t see that Next are on Quidco or similar.

I think the next premium one is a good choice, I've really toyed with buying that one. The box is gorgeous and it has a great range of products. I've not seen any deals or offers for it 😕

Did anyone order the Harrods beauty calendar or anything else from Harrods over the weekend? I ordered some stuff on Saturday night and then did another order on Sunday with them and I've not received any updates from them. I've chased them but no reply so far. I didn't want to pay again for postage on Sunday, so I ordered that one to store with the hope that I can pick it up on Sunday at the hbeauty event, I'm now starting to think it won't be there 😳

I just saw an ad for the liberty one. The couple, I think, are the one who does all kate and wills pictures. Hes one half of Topjaw, the food app thing. And now advertising the calenders!

I already have harrods fragrance, harrods beauty, my SNK Frankenstein calendar, planning on ordering harvey nicks fragrance and I'm pretty sure my husband has ordered me the PDM countdown to nye one for Christmas. I really shouldn't get any more, but will be tempted by any good offers that come about. I probably should switch off my phone and not look 🤣

I was just reading in Aibu about a the op whose husband said he would purchase bac for her , she said it sells out quick and it has and he didn't order . There are a lot of Bac haters on the thread so can we maybe feature some of them in RHOBAC please. We are gonna need some baddies .
Anyhow I am the proud owner of Jl and it is along side my Liberty in the spare room . I can't wait for the opening threads , especially PDM .

There's not many. Liberty is probably the best one but it's not really aimed at 20 year olds and it's expensive. I had this issue last year and ended up doing a DIY one for DS.

@Caramelandsalt My husband mentioned yesterday that the saw something about beauty advents being released. I mentioned that I know, and that some have already sold out. He rolled his eyes at me, as if to say I was being dramatic and of course they dont sell out it's not even December. Luckily for me I have bought myself the SNK already.

I’ve only ever had M&S before (which I really liked but price rise plus lots of repeats this year put me off) so am excited to have one that’s a bit more posh 😊😊😊

@NeedingCoffee If it doesn’t need to be specifically grooming AC, then MyProtein do one and it was very good last year. My DS was a bit unsure when I gave it to him (he’s usually happy with £2 Cadbury one), but once he started to open the days he was really happy with it and we were impressed by how much was in there. They do offers all the time as well so you may get a discount if you hold out

This is why I usually order what I want then give it to the husband to wrap etc. I've learnt from this mistake before 🤣 Apart from the PDM, I've left him to order that just because it is so expensive 🤣

Loreal 12 day advent calendar is on flash sale on tiktok for £43.20. Perhaps worth a look if you use products from the brand.
