Can I wear this?

I've got two weddings to go to next year, both seperate groups of people so looking to perhaps spend a little more than i might usually do and get a dress that I can wear to both. They're both barn/tipi style venues in the summer.

I'm early 40s, size 12, 5'7". I like that its a bit different but I think the cutout bits are making me worry its a bit young for me?

Will you be comfortable in it? If so then why not!

I think it’s really nice and I’d wear it at 50 if I lost a few pounds.

It's lovely. My only concern would be if you sit down and side rolls coincide with the cut out. But you might not give a crap about that sort of thing.

I like it! I have a dress with a cut out,and I'm 61 (I'm a size 8, but I don't think that makes a difference really!). Clothes don't have ages attached to them.

I love the colour/ pattern but not sure about the cut outs, especially if sat down for long periods of time, it may not be comfortable. It's one of those where you can only tell when actually try on.

Love it, do it! Will you have some form of wrap, temperatures can drop dramatically in the evening, especially if you’re going to be rural.

I think it's gorgeous and lots of options for different shoes. I wouldn't worry about the cut outs and sitting down. No one focuses on other people's tummies when eating.

I like but would also be concerned about the cut outs as I'm very pale so they'd be very obvious. A dressmaker would probably be able to add some internal lining fabric to cover them, or a similarly coloured strapless vest or body could be a good solution

I love a cut out dress. I'm 34 but I would wear it at 50. Also, the cut outs are high enough that you aren't going to bulge out, esp at a size 12. I'm tempted to order it myself tbh.

I'd wear it on holiday or at the beach. Not at a wedding.

It’s lovely! Absolutely you can wear it, of course. If it helps, I am 57 and a size 12 and will be wearing a dress with a cut out at the back today. And why not?
