Oh I like the green dress but it is gaping on the bodice. I’m no expert but perhaps it would be better if the buttons were for decoration only, not to fasten the dress.

Love both Mary's dresses there and the accessories, but I do agree with you @Papergirl1968, not a fan of the slight gaping and think they would look better as purely decorative buttons.
She's looking great though.

I want Mary's shorts! It's so difficult to get women's shorts that length and she's got at least two pairs. Wouldn't mind a trip to that beach either - the sand looks perfect.

@choux The green dress is just about OK (mainly because it's green), but I'm more than ready for an end to all the long sleeves, long skirts and safe florals. The brown one is... too brown as well as being long again. Endless tasteful brown, beige and taupe is even less appealing flowers on everything. The hat I like.

Fred's poor valet is going to be picking dog hair off his ceremonial gloves forever!

Mary seems to have enjoyed wearing brown patterned dresses this summer. She wore the one upthread in July as well plus another similar one also in July. A couple of days ago she wore a white polka dot dress to mix it up a bit. She is loving the necklace with the square shaped open pendant too - wearing it at least 50% of the times we see her.

And just to mix it up, here’s a tiara’d / headbanded up Queen Astrid of Belgium in 1935. I am a bit worried that is her hair at the bottom of the frame but it’s a beautiful photo.

Yes, that probably is her hair.
They certainly wore tiaras low on the forehead in the 1920s. See also QEQM.

Mary's polka dot outfit is very simple but elegant. I'm all for more brown, one on my favs. I currently have a brown maxi skirt on. A/W 25 looks pretty brown from what I have seen.

The polka dot dress is Me+Em. As is one of the brown dresses. She also wore another Zimmerman dress (a repeat and Zara has it too) last week although added a black jacket which is to dark in my opinion. I do like the sage floral with white though. All the details in the link.
