Do you wear mascara on bottom lashes?

I did for years until a few days ago as there is always mascara under my eyes and I really like the look of it without it! Does anyone else not wear it on bottom lashes?

Never have, makes eyes look smaller.

I’m 43 and don’t wear it on my bottom lashes. Ive tried it once or twice but just end up with black smudges underneath if I do.

I don’t have the option, I’ve only got about 7 lower lashes between my two eyes…. 🙄

I haven't put mascara on my lower lashes for literally decades (I'm in my 60s).
Partly because it gave me itchy eyes but also because having mascara on both top and bottom lashes seemed to make my eyes look smaller.....

Always. For those who have panda eyes, you need tubing mascara.

No I never have. My eyelashes are reasonably long so they look overly accentuated if I put mascara on the lower lashes.

I do because the shape of my face and eyes looks better if my eyes are defined Cleopatra style!

Not quite as heavy as this but the same style.

Yes. My lashes are white blonde, so if I don't, it looks very weird.

I use Clinique bottom lash mascara.

Absolutely. I am blonde (natural with highlights) and I would look dead with only top ones done. bottom ones I do light but yes alway have mascara on. I use Estee lauder and it never smudges.

Yep and overdirect them to the outer eyes. Really suits me.

I don't because the mascara I wore smudged, I don't know if the one I use now smudges because I don't put it on the bottom.
I need to look into tubing mascara, but I don't wear mascara very often only if I'm out somewhere nice

Nope, not for about ten years. My eyes look much bigger without it funnily enough!

No, I can never do it, it always looks a mess on me

I tried without lower lash mascara a couple of times, and both times I was told ‘you look tired’

I do only use it on the outer half of my eyes and just a small amount at the roots only. They look too spidery if I coat all the lower lashes.

I’m intrigued with this eye shadow on the bottom lash?? How do you apply this (I do felt eyeliner close to the lashline all of the top lash and maybe two thirds of the bottom line and a little shadow on the top, but bottom lash shadow??

Yes, always. It looks stupidly unbalanced on me without and like I have no lashes on the bottom if I don't apply it. That's not to say I always wear makeup or mascara, but definitely do both when I do. I apply much more to the top though.

I don't look like Aunt Sally. I just look like I actually have eye lashes.

Sometimes but I actually stopped a few days ago after doing it every day for a week as I kept getting mascara smudging under my eyes.. very annoying

I haven't used mascarà since I was a teenager. I found it kept smearing off on my glasses.
Luckily I have thick black eyelashes and eyebrows (but blonde hair so I always look abit odd!😄).

I very occasionally use the Clinique bottom lash mascara, the brush is tiny but unless I am very careful it still tends to smudge.

I do think it gives a more made up look, which I like, but my eyes have become more sensitive with age hence the smudging which is not a good look.

Yet to find a tubing mascara overall that I like but if I did I would probably revisit the bottom lash look more often.

Top only. I have quite thick, long lashes and it looks too much with mascara on the bottom ones.

Tubing mascara doesn’t budge.

Before I used it, panda eyes drove me mad (I wear sunscreen daily and it just used to smudge)
