Do you wear mascara on bottom lashes?

I did for years until a few days ago as there is always mascara under my eyes and I really like the look of it without it! Does anyone else not wear it on bottom lashes?

Only very rarely, with a full make up / Smokey eyes look.

Always. My mascara never runs (Rumi cosmetics) - it’s a tubing mascara

Me too. Late forties and mascara is the only make up I wear daily. Has never occurred to me to skip bottom lashes!

Yes but Im in my early 50s and I favour a full make up look anyway. I have started doing the eyeshadow smudge in the centre of the lower lash area though which is a newish thing and which does open up my eyes.

Yes, otherwise my eyes look unbalanced. I’m very careful and sparing with it so it doesn’t smudge or smear.

I do and when it’s dry I dab a little eyeshadow on to soften it.

I don't day to day for work, only top, but I do if I'm going out and have eye shadow etc on. But I have very pale lashes.

If I have eyeshadow on or false lashes then yes, if I just have a bit of mascara on then no. I used to do it all the time and the one day my dad told me I look like “the wee man from Clockwork Orange”. To be fair I was piling it on, but he could have been nicer and said Twiggy or something.

Yes but I have blonde lashes so kind of have to otherwise I’d have dark top lashes and blonde bottom ones! I don’t use black mascara though, I use brown.

Never. I have a small gap (1mm) to one side on my lower lashes on one eye (goodness knows how) - only really noticeable to me when I'm looking in the mirror I guess, but mascara totally emphasises it, so I only ever wear it on top lashes.

Similarly it’s never occurred to me to put it on! I once read a thread where people were saying that shampoo and conditioner should be in different sized bottle because they used all the shampoo before the conditioner!

Yes but I use a different mascara to the one on my top lashes. I feel most mascaras smudge on my bottom ones as they are long so it can be a pain.

I like my top ones to be thick and long so a lot of mascaras I wear tend not to be so great for this if waterproof. Like 5D lash pow revolution looks great on top ones.

However, the mascara on my bottom lashes never ever budges and I have worn it swimming too. It doesn't thicken my lashes the way I like but this mascara only comes off with hot water/ makeup remover.

It's called stay perfect mascara no7. Never had a mascara not budge as much as this one. Just wish it thickened but it dries so quickly.

I genuinely didn’t realise that people wouldn’t put mascara on lower lashes!! 😂 when I do my make up later I’m going to test it out.
