Do you wear mascara on bottom lashes?

I did for years until a few days ago as there is always mascara under my eyes and I really like the look of it without it! Does anyone else not wear it on bottom lashes?

Never, mascara in the bottom lashes looks a bit too Aunt Sally. But I have fairly long black eye lashes. I might feel differently If I had pale eye lashes.

Yes because I'm very fair so looks strange otherwise.

Just on the very outside corner. My glasses prescription is weird so I have developed an eye makeup technique which counteracts what my lenses do to how my eyes look, as much as possible.

No. If I wear mascara on my bottom lashes, it's weird when I blink as they kind of stick to the top ones.

No but I have very dark eyelashes

No because my eyes look more lifted with it just on the top

Yes, I use waterproof so no smudge.

I've been wearing mascara for 30 plus years and only a handful of times have tried putting it on my lower lashes. It definitely suits me to only do upper lashes (quite honestly I thought this is what most people did!!!)

Yes I do. I didn’t used to until the last few years. I do have long black lashes anyway but my eyes are my best feature and I find it accentuates them. I only wear make up when going out and favour a dark eye/rock chick look.

Yes I do, I am not at all worried about mascara trends.

my lower lashes are long and touch my face. I have never found a mascara that didn't leach onto my under eye skin and make me look like I have dark eye bags when I don't. Even tubing/waterproof mascara. It always smudges off so I can only wear it on top lashes.

Not in the day time but if I haven't got false lashes on, I may put a little on the bottom lower outer lashes.

Well I’ve given the no mascara on the bottom lashes a go this weekend and I think I like it!

Never, predominantly because my lower lashes are longish and dark, but also, it’s a really dated look.

No. If I put mascara on my bottom lashes it looks like spiders legs

I know there was a no bottom lash mascara trend recently but it just looked odd on me. I have really long top and bottom lashes which I like to accentuate.

No I felt it gave me cow looking eyes and I only use the top now which I feel makes my eyes pop.

Yes, it’s a much better look for me if I do. I’m surprised at how many don’t, I thought more would.

Always, I wear eyeshadow on bottom too.
I did try not wearing it but it didn't make my dark rings look any better.

Age 64 here and I used to do top and bottom. For 20 odd years I’ve done top only. I think it is very aging- up there with blue mascara! A little smudge of browny eye pencil on eye line and mascara for long fine eyelashes.

I never realised not doing the bottom lashes was a thing. I always do top and bottom and I have naturally black eyelashes already.
