Instant glowy skin?!

I know this is a massive ask but is there any way I can get glowier skin fairly instantly? I'm thinking a mask or a peel? Is there anything that works?

DD2 (20s) has amazing glowy skin. She's been working on it for years and uses £££ of Korean skin care. My other 2 20 something DDs have lovely skin - because of their age - but DD 2 's skin in just luminous.

Instant results would need a cosmetic i think. A glowy highlighter all over alone or under a tinted moisturiser perhaps. Or run up and down the stairs for 15 mins that'll get you glowing 🤪

I really rate ExfoliKate by Kate Somerville. It's fairly harsh but my skin always looks lovely after I've used it.

Eat more raw veggies. Peppers. Cucumbers. Carrots. Every day. Will take a bit of time but your skin will glow.

BangingOn · 21/07/2025 12:52

As others have said, the best glow comes through prolonged effort with diet and skincare. But if you want something to offer an improvement immediately then I really like Glossier Futuredew.

Glotion by L’Oréal is good and only £12 ish. I put it on before primer. I’ve heard good things about Tatcha dewy mist spray but at £48 I’ve not tried it yet!

I find Super facialist Vit C Glow boost serum to be really good. Can definitely see the difference.
I strayed and bought a different one that's rubbish, so need to get more 😆

I'll get her to list it and i'll update 👍

Glycolic acid will make you glow just don’t overuse it. I had to give up dairy and in the last month my skin looks luminous, can’t quite believe it.

HelenHywater · 21/07/2025 15:03

Alpha H liquid gold is amazing.

YouBelongWithMe · 21/07/2025 15:14

I'd second the Glossier serum - really wearable and instant glow.

BUMCHEESE · 21/07/2025 18:09

Thanks, I've got an alpha-h exfoliating treatment facial pad so will try that.

Not sure I'll get glossier serum in time but will look into it!

I'll drink lots of water and raw veg and exercise too!
