I know this is a massive ask but is there any way I can get glowier skin fairly instantly? I'm thinking a mask or a peel? Is there anything that works?

I’ve been using medicube pdrn serum the last couple of weeks and my skin is looking lovely !! It’s 1% salmon sperm. I’ve also just started using snail mucin. Both Korean !!

A couple of Tan Luxe facial drops in a bit of moisturiser works for me.

ElleintheWoods · 21/07/2025 22:48

Do you mean to wake up with it or create the impression that you have it?

If the latter, La Roche Posay SPF 50. Or Charlotte Tilbury WonderGlow. Or both, with some makeup or tinter moisturiser in between.

Boots no 7 skin illuminator is good. I've used it for years. It lasts for ages as you only need a tiny amount.

Bumcheese 😂😂 excellent name!!! I use varying products on my skin, but I’m most fond of Elemis papaya enzyme peel, and I notice that my skin looks more glowy when I do a weekly derma roll with some Garnier hyaluronic acid, but it does sound like you’re a bit pressed on time

Another that says unfortunately diet and drinking water, sleep. Some products thst have helped though-
pestle and mortor hyluronic acid
pestle and mortar hydrate moisturiser and then the face spray
cetaphil face wash/ Clinique take the day off
Aimee Connolly products/ primer

or glossier

I am in my mid 40s with dry dry dry skin!

A Korean sheet mask is v good for a bit of an instant glow. You can get them in Superdrug and prob Boots.

Thanks all some good ideas!

I've had a tough few weeks and am looking haggard and skin is dry.

I'm trying to drink more water and taking collagen but keen to look nice(r) for an event in 10 days.

I don’t know how you feel about more intervention, but I had a course of skin booster I injections. The results were just temporary, but I felt amazing while they worked!

Make chicken soup from the bones. This always makes my skin better than any amount of beauty products. Then spinach!
i recently got a tester of Elemis midnight facial I think it’s called ?
It’s really effective. Also olay regenerist purple jar.

Rose hip oil!

SaintGermain · 22/07/2025 05:06

Liquid highlighter mixed with your usual foundation.

Zooeyzebra · 22/07/2025 05:19

I like Embryolisse Rose Glow

it looks crazy in the jar, but actually applies easily and naturally
