Why does my skin look like this after foundation? Moisturised right before application, can someone give me some tips/advice please

I do have hyper pigmentation on my face which came in my first pregnancy and never went away. I have mostly dry skin but it can get quite oily too.

any recommendations for budget friendly foundations/primers that might help. The £100 cream someone posted above is way out of budget.

Weleda Skin Food. Every night at bed time. Feels thick but it soaks in and solves all woes.

If you want to get rid of the pigmentation, get tretinoin 0.05% to start with, and use SPF 50-100.
