Palome - Any experience?

Palome seem to be heavily advertising at the moment. Trust pilot reviews are positive. But they seem to be charging very inexpensive prices for Cashmere etc. I do like the look of their clothes but is there a catch?

Also interested as have noticed the above…

There are reviews on You Tube. Katie Louise bought some of the clothing. It looks like a copy of Sezane.

Thank you @Mercurial123.I've just watched the You Tube video. What a thorough comprehensive review! I would be interested to see how the returns process goes for Katie Louise.

I was just coming to ask the same question - lots of ads on FB & IG, looks good but I'd like to hear from anyone who's ordered from them.

DareDevil223 · 14/07/2025 13:24

I bought a couple of things from Palome, the Felix top in Peony and the Danube cashmere sweater in Ivory. I bought both in a size 10. They arrived quickly, beautifully packaged and with the pretty free kerchief/scarf which was a nice touch.

Nice colours, true to size and good quality so I was very pleased. I'd buy from them again i think.

Coming to say this too.

It's not my scene but the po faced returns policy would put me off.

I rarely return anything, I check the size guides, I'm honest with myself about the size I need and I only order 1 item, not multiple sizes. Very occasionally something's not right. I'm not going to be guilt tripped into "gifting it"

LunaTheCat · 15/07/2025 07:48

Ohh lovely… bugger you OP. 😀

WinWhenTheyreSinging · 22/07/2025 22:35

Has anyone bought the Dauphine blazer? Am tempted, but new company/weight loss means I’m dithering about sizing.

mrschocolatte · 23/07/2025 07:11

I’d never heard of this brand until I opened this thread. I’m now £64 worse off after buying the Maida Dress 😬

Housewife2010 · 23/07/2025 07:13

The returns policy says that they don't refund the outward postage. However, if you are returning the whole order, distance selling regulations state that the outward postage should also be refunded.

Penguit · 05/08/2025 14:06

I've bought and returned two items. Beautiful quality but sizing was off. Jeans too small and skirt enormous. Skirt also very different from as advertised. Expected a summer weight but far to heavy ... probably even for winter and was also huge. Gifting unwanted items is not an option and the first return was painful. By the time I returned the second item they seemed to have improved. I really want to like this brand as the quality is good so have just ordered a top. Third time lucky.

WinWhenTheyreSinging · 05/08/2025 16:08

I ordered the blazer and a silk top, but they were too big. (This is a me problem, rather than a sizing problem - I have lost loads of weight and still haven't got my head round it.) Returned with no issue though, refund came through fairly promptly. Deliveries are speedy and quality really does seem very good for the price, fabrics are lovely.

My only issue was that the first order smelt very strongly of a perfume that I didn't like. Even if the clothes had fitted, I might have had to return them. The second order was fine though, just a very light scent.

Supersimkin7 · 05/08/2025 18:24

Cashmere is excellent.

notnorman · 05/08/2025 21:17

Ive bought the v neck cashmere and the crew neck. Absolutely beautiful and size spot on. Will deffo order more

WinWhenTheyreSinging · 06/08/2025 08:46

I am hoping they expand their colour range a tad. A few things I haven’t bought because I don’t want them in black or cream (thankfully for my bank balance, which is taking a beating at the moment😆). I’d have bitten if they had them in e.g. navy.

LOVE the Versailles cashmere jumper and the new Hortense crochet top looks divine, but am saved by the colours so far. The Ruislip dress is stunning too.

scarletwidow · 06/08/2025 11:17

Oops - I have just ordered a top and a silk blouse

What did you accidentally order?

BarnacleBeasley · 06/08/2025 11:29

Ooh, I'm quite tempted. For those who have found the clothes true to size (especially @DareDevil223 ) did you think the size 10 was tts as in 'matches their published size guide' or as in 'like you'd expect a normal size 10 to be from other shops'? I ask because size 10 normally fits me at the moment but according to the measurements in their size guide I should buy a 12. But as I'm quite short with narrow hips, sizing up tends to swamp me.

Blahblahmama1 · 07/08/2025 07:41

Belleville shirt coming my way.

Phillipa6 · 08/08/2025 09:03

I have received a box of their clothing a few weeks ago and I am really happy with the whole experience. The packaging was so nice- I know this isn't important but it definitely added something. I ordered some jeans, a cardigan, a top and two dresses. They are all great. The quality (so far) is high and all the pieces fir well and look like their photos on the site. I especially like the jeans which I am wearing a lot. Really great!

Cambronne top in navy silk arriving for me today, which I already know I love as I returned it in a bigger size. It really is a beautiful top.

I keep looking at the jeans! I love sezanne but it’s too spendy- I’m trying to save!

I have found the tops to be generous and the bottoms to be a bit tight. E.g I am a 6 in their top and usually an 8 but in the the bottom I am usually an 8 but I am a 10. I could have got bigger of course!

Oh, that's useful - thanks! It sounds like they are making clothes exactly the right shape for me, since I often wear a bigger size on top than on the bottom. Clearly it was meant to be.
