Daith piercing mistake 😳

So I had this piercing done today and at the time thought the earring cute and unusual
Now looking at the photo it looks huge and ugly. I’ve got to leave it in until it heals enough to have it changed I suppose 🙁
Any suggestions about what I could wear in the other piercings to try and make the daith look better until such times? 😭

I don’t normally like earrings (wear them every 2-3 years and cross fingers holes are still open) but I actually quite like that! It fits nicely in the space (looks proportional).

I like it! It looks very boho chic. I’m sorry you are not keen though. Maybe it will just take some getting used to. Every piercing and tattoo I’ve had, I’ve had a ‘WTF have I done’ moment in the first 24 hours and then it settles and I love it. Maybe it will pass. And if not you can have it changed soon.

You can remove the other earrings until you get chance to change it. Having lots of earrings draws more attention to it. People only seem to notice my piercings if I have lots of them in.

I like it and don’t think it looks huge or ugly but if you want to take the focus off it then increasing the size of the other earrings, add colour to the other earrings or wear some earrings that dangle will all draw the eye to them instead of that one.

I'd just keep the rest of your ear low key for now and give it time to bed in. I'm surprised your piercer was willing to use something so decorative.

I am old, boring, have one earring in each year, and no tattoos. I’m another person who really likes it.

Maybe you just need to get used to it? I think it looks fab but I also have my daith pierced so I’m biased 😂

On a related-ish note, I got my tragus pierced a few years back and I hated it so much I took it out within a couple of days - it stuck out loads at the side of my head and reminded me of Frankensteins monster with the bolts in his neck!

I may change the tragus and lobe to tiny studs so not so many hoops
My piercer is experienced and assured me it was fine to use. It is titanium and wasn’t cheap so I’ll just have to put up with it
