If you were into fashion, you would know gingham is actually the new trend for summer!
Not my cup of tea, personally I don't like gingham and I think everything looks like those curtains that were used in replacement of cupboard doors in a kitchen

I don’t particularly like it, but it’s the kind of thing my husband would happily wear.

I’m not keen on the size of the check, or the diagonal cut pocket.
But it’s clean and would look fine with denim.
Sorry but I’m Canadian and check shirts are the norm.

Gingham is on trend at the moment. It's a really normal summer shirt to be honest. I have no feelings on it either way.

Obviously everyone has different tastes but it's a very ordinary shirt and it's a bit weird to have this strong a reaction to it.

Gingham may be “on trend”, but i certainly don’t like the red gingham on a man.

Definitely the colour.

I'm not seeing anything wrong with it. It's a casual shirt, it's not faded black, it's in a cool and airy fabric and could be worn as is, with a white t-shirt underneath or over a long sleeved t-shirt in a dark colour for anybody who isn't comfortable showing their arms for any reason (including scars or for sun protection).

But then again, I see nothing wrong with a Tattersall either.

It's a completely normal shirt. Are the wildly OTT reactions to it some kind of in-joke or something? Baffling otherwise.

Probably something about 'how dare a man wish to wear something brightly coloured and comfortable instead of pale neutrals'.

I like men who wear colour. Makes a nice change from blue, grey or porridge tones. It's a 👍🏻 from me.

Most suitable . Especially for a Liverpool fan. Beats the boring Nirvana T shirt some 50+ guys wear to be cool.
