The next thread, royal style mavens! The title suggestion was from our last thread. Mary of Teck was never knowingly underdressed or less than bejewelled!

Personally I love skinnies. You can keep your wide or flared trousers @Maireas.

I don't think I've worn flares since about 1977!
I do wear wide legged trousers, though, 'tis true.

Kate looks fine, nothing too exciting about her ensemble but she never looks bad. I don't like the skinnies either.

I think she's blonder.

She does have lovely hair, but it’s too long IMO.
I think she could get 4-6” chopped off and it would look much nicer.
Maybe she keeps it v long to make updos and tiaras easier.

Oh, I love those boots. I have wanted a pair ever since Kate first wore them years ago.

She does love her skinnies, but they were probably very practical for outdoorsy stuff today.

If Kate’s going to keep her hair very long for up-dos and tiaras, then our royal family need to do much better on the tiara-dinner-events front. (As in, have some!!)

Someone suggested a while back that she may be growing her hair to donate it....but I agree, all those long curls look dated.

She has done that before.

I like her long hair, I wish mine would grow beyond my shoulders.

I would like to see Kate in some of the on trend high-waisted wide legged- jeans - I imagine would look great on her, like Letizia the other day.

Or even straight-legged jeans. That brown pair is so skinny that they look like theyre cutting off the circulation in her legs!

Yes, I agree. They look uncomfortably tight, a slightly more relaxed fit would be better. I'm not a fan of tweed, but I really like the jacket, especially paired with the blue shirt.

Nothing to add except to agree - Kate looks good and fab hair (but too long) I do love a bit of tweed, but her look would be more modern with trousers like Leti was wearing.

I don't feel qualified to comment on skinny jeans being in or out but I liked the way Kate made it through the whole day in one outfit.

I did indeed trip myself up in a pair of wide palazzo pants last year! My knee is pretty much ok now, but I still have pain in my leg. Perils of middle age 😂

Poor Frugal! Is there anyone who could comfort you in your pain and distress?😉

Sophie was out and about yesterday and today, and looking lovely at both engagements - firstly at a morning tea at the Chelsea Hospital, and secondly at a service for holders of the Victoria and George Crosses.

Very summery! I like the first dress, that blue is a lovely colour on her and I'd like to see it full length.
