How many pairs of jeans do you own?

Just reading the Sainsbury jean thread and it got me wondering.
How many jeans are a normal amount to own?
What's your total?🙂

1 black wide
1 blue flared
2 bootcut grey and black
4 blue straight
2 grey straight
2 skinny blue and black
So that's 12 off the top of my head. There could be more.

I own 3 pairs! I inadvertently have two pairs of the same jeans (pull on, wide leg from H&M) in 2 different sizes. Love them though so keeping the more fitted ones for work & the baggier comfy ones for home. My other pair are cream wide leg ones from Zara.

I live in jeans, probably own 15 pairs currently, but i regularly wear 4 or 5.

I live in jeans and have a definite problem!

M & S Horseshoe in blue (but sized up so they fit like a baggy fit and sit on the mid waist rather than high)
Hollister baggy fit - mid rise

Boden Skinny jeans
River Island slim straight leg in regular length and ankle grazer, both dark blue denim
Washed black Levis - high waist
River Island straight leg cropped in light blue
H&M wide leg cropped jeans in white
Levis straight leg ankle grazer in pale blue
Arket Rose cropped jeans

My favourite in the winter are the slim leg jeans (River Island and Arket) worn with chelsea boots.

Summer I love my barrel leg jeans worn with birkies or sandals.

1 M&S black sparkly skinny jeans which I have yet to wear

4 cropped mom fit- 2 pale blue, 1 dark blue, 1 black. Currently stored for s/s wear.
2 pleated front baggy jeans- 1 blue, 1 washed black, again stored for s/s.
1 indigo wide leg (current fave)
1 black full length mom fit- think these will go
1 mid blue wide leg
1 dark blue baggy straight fit
1 pale blue palazzo style

So 11 pairs, but 6 in storage. I may get rid of the black mom fit, as I put them on the other day for smarter wearing and took them off again, and replace them with a straight or smart wide leg fit. I also need to run the black ones through with a dylon to get them a dark black again.
I might also buy a pair of cropped wide legs, as I do like wearing culottes.

I really appreciate the hourglass cuts that are appearing everywhere, its giving me a lot more choice.

I sorted my jeans drawer last year and threw out 10 pairs of skinny jeans as i decided life is too short to wear tight jeans
Went out and bought 3 new pairs in different styles - some roll-ups, some wide legs and some baggies. Love them all - so comfy and flattering

4 pairs currently. I can’t wear jeans to work but wear them on the weekends.
Black mid waist skinnies from zara
high waisted light blue wide legged from weekday
bootcut mid blue mid waist from weekday
loose dark wash low waist from weekday

9 pairs that I wear, various styles, slouchy, boyfriend, slim, straight, flared etc. Mainly blue but 2 are washed black.
Plus 4 pairs that I’ve hung on to as they still fit and I used to love, 2 are skinny and 2 lowish rise.
Quite a few are Hush as they fit me well.
My current favourites are from All Saints - slouchy cargo jeans.
Seems far too many but I live in jeans and wear them to work.

Kids left home so I use a bedroom as a dressing room completely walled in floor to ceiling wardrobes it's brilliant and actually stops me buying as much as I can see what I have
I have 10 pairs of jeans maybe more if we are counting beige and white ones and cropped ones

I live in jeans, have about 70 pairs 🙈 and after reading this think I need to get rid of some 😄
My fav jeans are levis and abercrombie.
I have wide leg, straight leg, slim, flare, bootcut and skinnys, have my fav jeans in different shades/colours and leg lengths to go with different footwear.

This thread inspired me to go upstairs, have a trying-on session, and have a clear-out of a few pairs, as I hardly ever wear them anymore. However, that didn't work out for me as I discovered I absolutely love every single pair, even some I've had for about a decade. So I'll keep them and start wearing them again! It helps that I've lost about a stone through intermittent fasting, and those that I assumed didn't fit or weren't comfortable, fit beautifully again!

Thanks op! And in answer to your question, I have about 8 pairs I think. That includes a very recent pair of black wide legs from Sainsbury's,and a pair of ankle grazer, rib cage levi's. The rest are mostly blue (varying shades of) skinnies, or slim/straight leg. And one quite recent wide leg, pale stone-washed.

I tend to wear leggings rather than “proper” trousers or jeans because to get them to fit my thighs they then are too baggy on waist.

None. So uncomfortable. I haven't worn jeans in years.
