How many pairs of jeans do you own?

Just reading the Sainsbury jean thread and it got me wondering.
How many jeans are a normal amount to own?
What's your total?🙂

2 pairs but only wear one. Will add the other pair to the clothes pile to donate!
Don’t really find them comfortable so the ones I have are really loose/baggy.

You all are making me feel better as I thought I had loads. I have these

3 wide leg - one mid blue (New Look), one dark blue (H&M) and one black (New Look)

1 straight cropped (White Stuff)

2 barrel (both M&S Carrot Jeans)

1 tapered (White Stuff)

I also have 2 pairs of full length straight leg ones that I've realised I don't actually like on me so they're relegated to the back of the cupboard.

I can't wear jeans to work so it feels like a lot. I find myself wearing the wide leg and tapered ones most at this time of year. In spring/summer I'll be in the barrel and straight cropped most of the time, unless it's really hot but I live in Scotland so zero chance of that.

I had 2 pairs of decent Sainsbury's jeans but bought another pair in the sale recently. Then I have 2 pairs of tired jeans that I wear for nature reserve working parties because I'm not bothered if they get ripped. And another very tired pair that I wear to muck out my horse because stains don't matter. But the last pair is at the level where I'm surprised they haven't disintegrated each time I wash them.

I love jeans though tend to find them too cold to wear at this time of year. Wear them a lot more in the summer.

I have five pairs but two are slightly too low rise so they do not get as much wear.

I don't own any dresses or skirts.

@LittleRedRidingHoody Those who have more ~ do you ever buy duplicates or 2 very similar pairs? Or are they all different?

I have a couple that are very similar, my DH would say they are the exact same 😂 but the slightly more cropped version looks better with flats, the slightly longer looks better with boots etc. There are subtle differences that are important to me.

None. I only wear shorts or skirts/dresses. Jeans feel like being tightly wrapped in cling film to me.

I have 7 pairs.
2 from Sainsbury’s - black and dark indigo, faded and tatty, for scruffy days
dark indigo jeggings from Marks
3pr straight leg from Marks - black, dark and mid indigo, for everyday
a pair of wide leg dark indigo also from Marks, haven’t worn these yet

i like Marks jeans as their extra short lengthy is perfect for me.

I can't wear them at work, so don't have a lot of time to wear them. I really like the pair I wear though, so happy with just them

TBH I actually have 2 more pairs that are sat in the charity pile!
(I bought a couple of pairs of mom jeans for a couple of quid from Vinted because I was trying to get into skinnier fit jeans.
Turns out they just aren't for me. If fashion decides it's skinny legs only I'm just going to have to be unfashionable!).

Was gutted recently as my absolute favourite Monterey boot cut jeans wore through completely. Can't get them now. 😞

These days (l must be getting old) hole in the bum area is seen as a designer enhancement. But there again, l’m still puzzled by the term “guaranteed to shrink”. My mum would turn in her grave.

I wear jeans nearly all the time, I have three/four decent pairs and one tatty for slouching in. Plus a few too-small ones packed away.
