It arrived today after the slight buzz of finally ordering one and I’m underwhelmed.
Am I missing anything? I have even measured it because I wasn’t convinced it was large.

Bag update:
I’ve ended up both with the leather fat face tote and the le pliage.
I love the lightweight feel of the Le Pliage whereas the fat face one is quite heavy. But I like the soft leather feel of the Fat face one, and the style. Plus it has many pockets.

Win win for both.

I really like these bags and have an old one with holes in the corner. Im ok with this as I used it loads, and I have a fake one that still looks perfect and will probably outlive all my other bags. But I bought one from John Lewis in October 2024 and used it very very lightly with a liner inside but returned 6 weeks later as the corners were starting to fray, and I didn't want to leave it till they were actual holes, and it was too late to return. The cashier didn't understand but returned anyway. Don't know if I was unlucky.

Check the strap on your fat face bag. Is it stitched or glued? If the latter get it stitched. I had one which was just glued and the strap split within a few uses. It was easily repaired by my local cobbler and I have since taken F F bags to him for the handles to be sewn.
