Thought I'd start a follow on thread as I'm not about till tomorrow and I'm loving see all the LD arrivals, definitely doing some more next week.

It is really odd that they haven’t responded to you @Jins - I am sorry that you have had such a negative experience.

I am feeling a bit negative. I do like what I’ve bought so far but I don’t think I’ll be buying from them again.

I’ve got an issue with their description on the gloves as well. 😆. They use the word woollen twice when there isn’t a scrap of wool in them.

That's blatantly misdescription of the gloves!

Got my final order today - ordered on 31 Jan. I bought 2 x Maxi & 1 x Mini so got a free Midi & a free Mini. The 2 Minis were beanies in plum, quite nice. Weird they sent 2 the same but when I ordered the free Mini didn't register and was sent separately. But both DH & I will wear one each. The Midi was a grey Paddington B in graphite. Previously had orange. Very pleased. The 2 x Maxis were a small Bantry in black with mustard trim, DS very pleased & a Trafalgar medium in purple. Gorgeous colour.

I completely agree with you on the gloves @Jins - I don’t quite know what they were thinking with that description - it’s definitely somewhat misleading.

The gloves on the site for sale now seem lovely by contrast with the LD ones.

My 31st Jan order arrived and it is … another black backpack! It’s very nice (small black Canfield with purple trim) but I got almost an identical bag 2 weeks ago. I’m annoyed with myself for giving into that last LD!

Going to try to sell it on vinted I think. Unless anyone here wants it? It’s this bag:

@Painaupain I would have done but I swapped for one of these today on FB. I would definitely try swapping on that FB page because these are popular backpacks and you will get the option to swap for a bag that you really like. Are you on there?

ISO of a Trafalgar Medium tote but not in simply purple if anyone is selling one

Are you keeping an eye on vinted? There's was burnt blue, lavender, grey and green on there yesterday for £30 - £40.

It was very hard not to buy another one!

I am trying to list one of my items in Vinted, but it seems really weird that the buyers choose the postage method and then you have to use that🙀

I hasn't realised how many options there were but you can send evri and royal mail from the post office and most large garages do inpost and yodel round here so it was much better than I had feared.

Thanks @GreyBlackBay - it all seems horribly complicated and weird compared to eBay. My DSis has had umpteen problems with Vinted due to buyers not acknowledging the sale has gone through ok. She has lost valuable items and never had a sale go through properly. I think I might just delete my listing and stick to eBay😿

There are lots of reasonably priced ROKA bags on Vinted now, btw, (but not mine 😹)

Touch wood - I've found Vinted really easy and convenient. I like that I don't have to sort out the postage and all the drop off spots are a couple of minutes from my house. I've maybe just been very lucky so far because I've read plenty of when Vinted goes wrong stories. Knowing that I probably wouldn't choose to buy or sell anything on there over £50 as a maximum.

Thanks @OvaHere - I know it works well for many. I think I would feel more confident as a buyer - lots of bags on there!

Mine’s on eBay - it can just sit there waiting patiently, (it´s not eating anything, as my Nana used to say 😹)

I've been unsuccessful in swaps and listed my extras on eBay auction starting at LD price - the two I've sold went for starting bid..there's certainly a glut!

You can pick and choose the postage you want when selling in your own settings.

so Yodel around here are crap so I’ve disabled that so buyers can select that option.

This is my only experience of Roka CS so far as I was more than happy with my small black bantry. It hasn’t been great. I’m pretty sure that whatever eventually turns up will be going back for a refund as I’ve seen alternatives that would probably work better for me

My last order is due today. I'm still debating what to do about the last order, I think a lot of it will go on eBay - they're lovely bags but I don't think I'm going to get enough use out of them.

Post just arrived with no parcel from Roka.

I said I wasn’t going to contact them again but my fingers are itching to send an email asking if I actually exist!

Mine has arrived as well and it’s a Chelsea!

Unfortunately its neon pink and I hate it. It’s going back asap

I can’t even start a return because the order is unfulfilled! I have to email customer services which doesn’t bode well.

I think I’ll just cut my losses and charity shop it. At least it’ll do some good, get it out of my sight and not create more work for me.

I know it sounds petty but seeing everyone else getting excellent customer service while I’m left hanging has really put me off the brand.
