Roka Lucky dip 2025 thread 2

Thought I'd start a follow on thread as I'm not about till tomorrow and I'm loving see all the LD arrivals, definitely doing some more next week.

I picked up the Trafalgar I bought on Vinted and it’s lovely - I think I have @TwirlyPineapple to thanks for that!

3 midis arrived.
Paddington B in teal
Kennington medium in black
Jubilee medium in seaport (gorgeous colour!)

They're all lovely. I love the Paddington so that's mine. I really ordered for DS and I think he'll love the Jubilee as a general bag but not sure he needs another. He really needed a college bag, I think the Kennington fits the bill but he won't like the black, he loses black bags so likes bright colours.

Hmmm. I won't be sending any back because I think Roka have done their bit so I might see about a swap or sell and rebuy or just keep them and use them myself or gift.

And I still want a trafalgar, that'll have to wait!

My maxi LD has just arrived and it’s a medium cranfield in Black/mulberry. It’s lovely.

I know there’s been a lot of criticism but I’m genuinely pleased with how I’ve fared. I’ve had a good variety and am pleased overall with my haul. So pleased I’ve just ordered another maxi - definitely the last though….

First order was 1x mini, 1x midi and 1x maxi. Got a large Finchley in mist that I love and then an orange Paddington B and a mustard Chelsea. Swapped those 2 for a small bantry in stormy which is more likely to be used.

Then I sold a 1yr old small bantry that I’d grown bored of and bought another maxi LD because I fancied a trafalger - and I received an all black trafalger with teal zips. The exact colour way I would have chosen.

Then I did another maxi LD last week because I saw they were sending out Canfields and Bayswater. Arrived this morning and it’s a Canfield. So I’m happy.

Wonder what this last one will be!

I've just had a quick browse of Vinted and the bag prices are becoming much closer to the lucky dip prices.

That's really good to hear. I'm on the lookout for a couple more... I found the Roka group to be fairly priced.

I got the cotton tote, bright orange with velvet writing. I still haven't used it 😅 i ordered at like 3am on boxing day.

Realised today that my trafalgar has a clip for keys too. I really am impressed with it!!

After lucking out with a teal bantry earlier, I dipped again for something hopefully bigger and delighted with a cranberry Bayswater. Not sure it’s my colour though so POSSIBLY I’ll see if there’s something on vinted I would prefer for same price, but maybe I’ll just adapt to red!

@LividNewYear That's the one I got. I absolutely love it, it fits an amazing amount of stuff in it. I don't think I've seen any Bayswaters in other colours from the lucky dip but maybe you'll find one!

I’ve just received a purple Trafalgar and a black and mulberry Canfield medium. Pleased with that. They’ll both get used.

@TwirlyPineapple i looked on Vinted and the only Bayswaters are four cranberry same as mine, all on for loads more than LD price which I think is a swizz, so reckon I’ll keep it (unless anyone has something larger than a small bantry in maybe orange or green or blue to swap!) But I can learn to love the red, make me stand out in crowds anyway.

@LividNewYear It's totally a swizz, isn't it. I could understand the temptation to maybe trying to make a little profit if you had something desirable. But the amount of small Bantrys on there for £40+ is insane.

I'm really happy with the maxi lucky dip as well. I did 5 in the end- 1 black medium Canfield, 1 yellow small Bantry, 1 black medium Trafalgar, 1 black small Bantry and 1 cranberry medium Bayswater.

I'm selling/sold the black ones and keeping the two colourful ones. I definitely feel the small Bantry is worth the £30 lucky dip price, and the Bayswater certainly is!

I think I'm going to dip again. I want a pink something which I'll pick up from the group or Vinted. One of my DC wants a blue something. I'd quite like a small emerald bag too. Didn't realise this was going to get quite so addictive.

Hey just happened across this LD! How?! Have been looking for a mini bag and was eyeing up the Fjallraven cross body pocket bag but also have a Roka rucksack. Am trying my luck on the £10 dip so I'll let you know how I get on!

I bought a Chelsea on e bay for a tenner so I'm happy!

Has anyone found a working free delivery code recently?

@Heavybuthopeful the 10% off code from the beginning of last thread still works, covers some of the delivery of you're spending a bit more.

Yes, me too. I am trying to resist! I have gone from not liking the Trafalgar to wanting another 🙀. (In fairness to me, I still don’t like the lilac colour, but I am enjoying using the bag for work - it’s brilliant!)

I used my Emerald Chelsea at the gym today and it was a good size for phone, hand sanitiser, card and AirPods.

Re: The Trafalgar - where is the key clip? I haven’t found one in mine.

I was thinking of giving one to my daughter before dropping her back at uni tomorrow. She wants to buy a uni tote bag after ruining her last one so I’m keeping them all! 😂
