Thought I'd start a follow on thread as I'm not about till tomorrow and I'm loving see all the LD arrivals, definitely doing some more next week.

Wow, Paddington D hip bags now being advertised for 25 on vinted....

Can't imagine them being snapped up at that price!

Well I got some lovely bags from a combo of dips, one swap and a couple of purchases (one vinted and one on here). I am so pleased with all of them but really don't need 3 new medium backpacks plus my old one which is still perfectly fine.

My old one is a bit boring but goes with everything. I've now got a medium Finchley in storm which can take over as my everything bag however I'm not sure how much use I'll get out of the brighter ones even though I do love them. I can't be doing with constant bag swapping.

@DoComeToMeKitty I think if I only bought what I "need" .... we could downsize to a smaller house.... I was about to list my haul but I will just say that I bought more than I need and have loved every minute of it (including my FB swaps with lovely people) and I am keeping 3 small bantry despite them not being on my original wish list, because they are all beautiful quality, delicious colours and just really nice! If they make you smile, job done!

No reply to my cancellation email yet but they’ve only had since midday yesterday and I doubt my final day order will be processed yet.

I’ve done my best. If it arrives now and is socks, gloves, hat, scarf or umbrella I’ll just return it for a gift card. I’m sure there’ll be a sale later in the year when the colours aren’t so meh.

@Jins ive just been emailed my cancellation.

Which is good because I'd been second guessing myself so now it's done.

@GreyBlackBay I’m still waiting on mine. I’ve checked my spam folder and nothing has changed on the order status in my account either.

My parcel has arrived:

Free Mini: Horrid pair of ill-fitting green gloves with weird square fingers - will try to ‘palm’ them off on DS2 as an extra birthday present! (See what I did there 😉)

Free Midi: Paddington B in Black. I like this apart from the super-clashing brown plastic tags. Not sure I would ever use it because of these - they really cheapen the look of the bag. I genuinely don’t know why anyone would think putting orangey-brown plastic zip pulls on a black/grey bag would be a good look, (just no!)

Unnecessary Socks - very yellow, (will go nicely with the Custard Small Bantry from my first dip 😹).

Unnecessary Maxi 1: Another Trafalgar: This time a Creative Waste in Black, with Teal zip.

Unnecessary Maxi 2: Another Small Bantry - this time Creative Waste in Black with Purple top.

I am disappointed- ROKA should have been able to see that they had sent me a Small Bantry and a Trafalgar in my previous order, (or maybe not 🤷‍♀️)

Has anyone else who received duplicates ever contacted ROKA to ask why?

I am tempted to send the whole lot back, but the Trafalgar in black would probably come in handy at some point and the Bantry is cute. I was just hoping for something different or at least in nicer colours.

I will sleep on it and decide tomorrow…

@IlovePond Hi sorry you don't seem to have received an amazing variety.
I had the same issue with my second order.

I placed my first order on Boxing Day and had issues because they didn't despatch it and it took about 10 days to get a response.
The second order was when they had the free midi. They sent me the same bags all over again (2 days after my initial order despatched) so I did contact them and they were amazing. They even accepted a return of the duplicated free Paddington. They then checked my order history and offered to send a Kennington for the free midi because I had never had one before. Lo and behold I received a beautiful Kennington in denim wash.
I then felt guilty so placed another order (totally unnecessary - I didn't need any more bags but their customer service was exceptional) and when I received yet more duplicated Paddingtons I just swapped one and sold one on FB. I figured Roka must be on limited stock by that point and I swapped / sold other items that I didn't want to keep.

My advice would be to give them a call. You have placed several orders so you are a good customer. I ended up selling a few items on FB because other people loved what I didn't want to keep and it saved Roka processing the return. But if I hadn't been able to, I would have returned the items to Roka and they would prefer to keep the sale and keep you happy by exchanging them. Worth a phone call.

I spent a few hours in my local hospital last week and saw 3 older ladies (my mum's sort of age) carrying brand-new looking small Bantry B's! I wondered how many of them were MNetters mums!

Thanks @manpan1 - I might call them. I have also just realised that they sent me 3 black bags in the same order!

I've received my final LD (ordered 27/03) without the lucky dips and aside from the Chelsea pocket in a daffodil yellow, I'm going to try to swap them all on the FB group.

Canfield nylon medium in prawn - sorry - punch

Yet another Paddington in black and a Paddington B in mist.

Should be grateful I received no gloves!

@Snapespeare You won't have a struggle swapping the medium canfield in punch. I received one in my last order and it went immediately on FB. Medium canfields seem to be a rare breed! The Paddington in mist is also quite rare so fingers crossed you get what you are looking for

I'm starting to think I should cancel my last order - I've ordered two maxi in an attempt to get a medium backpack with side pockets for my DS. It's not looking promising...

Oh good to know! I had. A little surge of 'yes! Massive backpack! Win! Followed by 'is that actually prawn coloured?' excellent size for all my work guff, but ouch at the prawniness.

First time luck dipper here. Was sucked in by the excitement on here...my maxi and midi LD came today and I'm pretty disappointed to be honest.

Small bantry in black and corn. I was hoping for something i could use for work, but it's so unbelievably small, I have no idea what people are supposed to fit in it. It's like a child's backpack!

Then a paddington in burnt orange. Colour's ok but the style is a bit meh for my taste.

Not sure whether it's even worth trying to sell or swap so may have to cut my losses and return.

I did pay full price for a Carnaby with wrist strap which I do like though so it wasn't all bad!

Well I’ve not had a reply to my cancellation request email and I’ve just received a review request so I guess my mini is on the way.

I’m pretty sure I’ll be returning whatever it is for a gift card. Has anyone had a carnaby or Chelsea recently? It seems to be mostly gloves at the moment

Yes! Both, actually, just yesterday! A small black Carnaby from a paid for mini dip, and the free mini was a gorgeous urban rose camo Chelsea.

@Jins yes I got 2 chelseas early on. A saffron one is spare if you would like it. I paid £8.73 after discount and it won't cost much to post

@Winederlust a child's backpack was my thoughts on the small Bantry I got in my first lucky dip. I know some people like them but it seems a really impractical size to me.

I still have a simply purple Trafalgar and a medium punch Canfield to swap, ideally to same bag types but different colours if anyone fancies them (I'm open to dark colours too)
