Heavy perfume advice

Hi all, can anyone recommend a heavy perfume like the original Gucci? It’s no longer made and I’m nearing the end of the bottle.

It is a heavy perfume and I love that type of smell. Any suggestions?

I have liked obsession in the past and opium.

Alien by Thierry Mugler is quite heavy and v nice

Guerlain do some of the best but they are pricey. I like Samsara and Mitsouko.

Agree about Alien. I also like Black Opium and nearly all the Tauer fragrances, particularly l'Air du Desert.

The Kayali fragrances can be quite heavy.
I have burning cherry which has a deep smell.
YSL libre intense is a good shout for a heavier choice.

Creed Carmina but it's pricey

Desert Eden by Estee Lauder is a heavy musk rose based scent, very expensive though at almost £130.

Poison by Dior

Obsession by ck. A classic.

I don't know the Gucci one but if it's heavy you want then I have to offer you Portrait of a Lady by Frederick Maille.
It's a bit marmite as it's very intense but worth a sniff!

My aunt used to love heavier perfumes like opium and I'd always buy her a duty free bottle of Arpege when I'd fly home from abroad.

Alien or Angel if you like a sweeter smell.
They are both quite marmite but I love them!

Jean Paul Gautier La Belle.

I nearly skipped it as online reviews talked about a light summer fragrance. Tried it in duty free and I disagree that its light and would class it as a heavy fragrance.

Paloma Picasso. I wore it for a long time, but I have found it way too heavy lately. Quite inexpensive.

Or, Estée Lauder Knowing is a good one.

I bought Youth Dew blind a few years ago when on offer at John Lewis. A winter heady perfume, for me. And I love heavy perfumes like Opium.

I live for deep red by Hugo boss but would dump it if Gucci reappeared!!
