Uurrrrgh - mine arrived today and is a small Bantry B in Cranberry nylon. I have emailed as I ordered before the price change. Let's see what they say.
I only got one due to the excitement generated by this thread - I know, I know, I'm a sheepie. And to be fair some people have got very decent bags. When I ordered a maxi I was hoping for a bag I could get my laptop in, but the small Bantry B is beyond useless for me, I'll never use it, and no one in my family would want it either. So it's going back.
It's concerning that there are a whole variety of emails from Roka customer services to people who have emailed: some with vouchers, some with discounts, some have had no reply. I do feel that lack of staff over the Christmas period is adding to the woes but then perhaps next year they should structure the sale so that it goes live when they are fully staffed... and when they have proof read their own terms and conditions.
When I first read about this lucky dip, I thought it was a genuinely fun thing to do. But as the days have gone on, this thread and the Facebook group seem to show that it was really a way to offload a tons of small backpacks in their least popular colours. Which wasn't what appeared to happen last year.
