Luscious lip balm!

user12696648 · 15/12/2024 11:08

Can anyone suggest a really moisturising lip balm? I used to use Palmer's Cocoa Butter but they changed the recipe and it's rubbish now.

I got Vaseline Cocoa Butter instead and now my lips are peeling...

Help!

I love burts bees wax lip balm

KittenPause · 15/12/2024 11:14

Or just original thick sticky Vaseline

SwordBilledHummingbird · 15/12/2024 11:50

Plain Vaseline is the only thing that doesn't make my lips peel.

Rocknrollstar · 15/12/2024 11:53

Elizabeth Arden lip balm - like a lipstick. Clear or tinted.

Bohemond23 · 15/12/2024 11:54

Nuxe honey one.

Spaceid · 15/12/2024 12:04

Laneige. I hate Vaseline it seems to make my lips drier.

MuttsNutts · 15/12/2024 12:09

This stuff is a game changer. My grown up DS suffered from dry peeling lips from playing sport in all weathers. Tried lots of products without success but this has completely solved the problem and he wouldn’t be without it.

Lanisoh nipple balm. Massive tube, lasts for ever!

IDontHateRainbows · 15/12/2024 12:27

Laneige lip aleeping mask , I have the eggnog flavor but they are all good

And it's not just for when you are sleeping

Crochetgirl67 · 15/12/2024 12:38

Nuxe Honey. Pricy for a lip balm but you just need to use a little bit and the pot lasts ages so worth the price, and the lips stay smooth.

wintersgold · 15/12/2024 12:39

La Mer is stunning, always use it after skiing and it works far better than anything else I tried

MotherWol · 15/12/2024 12:56

I really like the Lanolips balm, either the one in the tube or the basic balm in a stick.

user12696648 · 15/12/2024 13:08

Wow great ideas thanks! Are the tinted lip balms sticky?

I have a lovely Shiseido one (bit old) but I hardly ever use it because my very flyaway hair sticks to it...

Nuxe honey one.

Nuxe reve de miel.

mamaduckbone · 15/12/2024 14:08

Carmex - the original in the yellow pot. It's the only thing I can put on my lips in winter unless I want them chapped, sore and covered in cold sores.

helpmyback · 15/12/2024 15:15

Have you tried the overnight one from o'keefes

The burts bees pomegranate in the day

Livinginaclock · 15/12/2024 15:16

Pleasing Big Lip.

WalterdelaMare · 15/12/2024 15:17

Laneige. I really love it.

Magpiecomplex · 15/12/2024 15:18

Lush Lip Service is excellent, been using it for decades!

Yeah this one. I have both clear and tinted- feels gorgeous and colours are great. Expensive but well worth it imo

user12696648 · 15/12/2024 17:50

How much of a tint is there to the Elizabeth Arden one? Not sure whether I want to draw attention to my manky lips.

That was the one advantage of face masks ... jowls and chapped lips be gone!😷

@user12696648 Blistex in blue pot is good or Carmen a tube but mine are peeling even with those this week. If they get really sore I use bepanthen nappy cream

KirstenBlest · 15/12/2024 18:43

Another vote for Blistex.
