Christmas nails

Help! I have my Christmas nail appointment tomorrow and could really do with some inspiration!
If you have had yours done yet please could you tell/show me what you went for or if not what you have planned .
I only started getting my nails done last November so only had one set of 'Christmas nails' and I just had biab base with gold glitter which I loved so may well end up doing again but I'm not sure!
Also do you buy your nail tech a gift? I wasn't previously getting my nails done regularly but now that I am I'm not sure what the done thing is?

These aren't my thing at all (I'm a boring bitch) but they're definitely my favourite.

I had these done last week and like them for a subtle Christmas vibe though I have another appointment before Christmas so may change them to something more dramatic!
