Christmas nails

Help! I have my Christmas nail appointment tomorrow and could really do with some inspiration!
If you have had yours done yet please could you tell/show me what you went for or if not what you have planned .
I only started getting my nails done last November so only had one set of 'Christmas nails' and I just had biab base with gold glitter which I loved so may well end up doing again but I'm not sure!
Also do you buy your nail tech a gift? I wasn't previously getting my nails done regularly but now that I am I'm not sure what the done thing is?

These are mine. They're biab and I really like them.

The final decision, struggling to get a good pic with no daylight but I went for red with gold glitter.

The red is looking a bit copper in this light but it's a lovely bright Christmassy red, super happy with them!

How do some of you deal with the upside down ones like trees that start at the end of the nails rather than at the cuticle. It triggers me.

I like the fact that other people can see the details right side up and if I want to look at them I just bend my fingers 😆

I suppose it's similar to people who get tattooed ?

She didn't have the sparkly navy or midnight blue that I was after unfortunately so went for a sparkly mulberry. Excuse the old lady hands, and the handmedown Christmas jumper I'm currently defuzzing 😅

Here's mine. Having them changed on Tue though as they're a couple of weeks old. Wasn't sure what to go for but there's plenty of inspiration on this thread!

They’re so plain compared to most here, but I love them

My Christmas nails have varied from full on glitter to navy glimmery ones. I also did my own metallic amethyst nails with an old discontinued L’Oréal shade. Relatives have got dark shiny berry gels.

They’re more what I’d get, understated glamour.

Your Dorothy nails have inspired me to maybe get black and green glitter inspired Wicked nails.
