Space NK Advent Calendar Opening Thread - 25 days of Joy (Hopefully!)

I've just put on a bit of the Sisley sleep mask- oh it's smells sooo lovely and feels very luxurious! Hopefully I'll wake up glowing with beautiful skin in the morning 🤣

Todays is more skincare! 🤣 Although it's Kate Somerville ExfoliKate which I got as a sample with the AC and I really loved it so it's a hit for me!

Had this before - and in fact still have quite a bit left. It’s… OK, I wouldn’t buy it but I can use it up (eventually).

Joining. Late to the party as I was on holiday. I actually opened the calendar in November but would love to join to discuss the daily contents (and no spoilers, don't worry).

I really like ExfoliKate so happy with this. I know there has been a lot of skincare but this is the first exfoliating product, so that's good. In previous years lots of the calendars were full of acids! I find ExfoliKate quite good for travel as it's not a liquid and you don't need cotton pads etc.

This is a DOD for me, I've burnt my face a couple of times previously with this one. Admittedly, my face looked great where it didn't have the little burn patches though!

I've got one one the go I use when giving myself a foot spa and it gets very tingly even on my feet.

Edited to add I'm a big fan of the KS brand overall, but not this product.

It's a creamy texture, you apply it, wait and rinse off. As opposed to products like Alpha H liquid gold or REN Ready Steady Glow which are liquids and you apply using a cotton pad and leave on. As I said, I find it good for travel as all you need is a sink and there's less risk of spillage in your bag etc. And yes it's an acid... But as I said it's the first exfoliating product and we're on the 11th. In previous years there were lots of acids in calendars, i.e. you were getting multiple similar products.

@EachandEveryone no you just choose your selling price -you keep what ever you ask for (or agree on an offer with the buyer). The buyer pays the fees and postage on top. 😊

genius! Never thought to try it on my feet. My face is at risk of being exfoliated to the bone 😂

On the other hand, my feet have enough excess skin to graft everyone here

Yes I think it was on the main advent thread I posted about how I try to use products that don't work for my face eg facial oil on my scalp, cleansers to clean makeup brushes. I really try not to waste products - I've got a sleep spray I don't really like that is in the bathroom as air freshener!

I wish I wasn’t too tired to work out the value of what we’ve had so far!

I know a lot of people think it’s skincare heavy but we’ve had a fragrance, a hair treatment, a lip balm, a lip oil, a blusher and a highlighter and it’s only day 10!

I’m gutted that it’s so expensive, I used it this morning and I look like I’ve had a facial. My skin is so glowy and feels like velvet. I can see this sorting out the congestion I get on my chin and smoothing the texture all over. I was wary of trying something so intense as I’ve a wedding on Friday but I’m so glad I did.
I’m going to be gorgeous with my swishy hair and dewy skin.
Fingers crossed day 12 is some miracle cream that will remove four stone of wobbly fat and I’m sorted.

For anything you love keep an eye on Vinted, there will be plenty of people that don’t like it selling on there, hopefully you’ll get a bargain!
