@Growlybear83 I can see the picture but it is very dark, what perfume was included?
I am away so won’t get to open mine until next weekend.

Growlybear83 · 08/02/2025 16:12

@MrsBnow12 There are two perfumes - Narciso Rodriguez For Her, which I love, and Shay & Blue blueberry musk. They're both 10ml.

MrsBnow12 · 08/02/2025 16:49

@Growlybear83 Thank you so much, looking forward to trying the NR as love All of Me.
I agree it is a good selection of items for £30.

Thank you, I've ordered. Interestingly I just noticed that the Good Genes is the lactic acid version, not glycolic, as the email from CB about the set mentions that the lactic acid version is coming soon. Anyone know the difference between the two? I've only had the glycolic acid one before.

ElizabethG81 · 12/02/2025 09:49

Also, if you're ordering do it through Top Cashback and there's 9% cashback.

I think potentially it's a bit gentler so maybe good for people who are reactive to glycolic. The reason we don't have the US version with lactic acid is because the % used wasn't allowed here so I'm assuming it's going to be a lactic version for the UK market that's still slightly different to the US version.

I've also ordered the edit. I absolutely don't need it but I really like SR so it was too good to pass up. Low buy 2025 is not going that great tbh because I'm also considering buying the new MediK8 serum I got a sample of on Saturday. 😳

The Cult Beauty AC is currently showing as available if anyone is tempted.

Oh no. That's a shame.

It's only recently sold out as it was still available late afternoon. I was watching it out of curiosity as the Summer Friday edit last year sold out in a couple of hours or less so I was expecting the same here but it didn't go quite as fast.

MrsBnow12 · 12/02/2025 18:30

@LivinInYourBigGlassHouseWithAView I will have a spare one if you are interested x

OvaHere · 12/02/2025 22:11

@LivinInYourBigGlassHouseWithAView

It's showing as back in stock again for now.

The Ordinary The Nightly set is down to £17 on ASOS. It contains 30ml of the organic rose hip seed oil and 15ml of their strongest retinal - 0.2 emulsion, plus30 ml of the hyaluronic acid. I think individually the cost would be £34 or thereabouts. I bought six of them as the retinal emulsion is one of the strongest available without prescription in the UK. Free postage over £40.

Does anyone know of a dupe of Bibbi the other room perfume. From liberty advent and so nice

Tretinoin from Monderma
Vitamin C from Eclat
Hyaluronic Acid from Olay

Great trio for reducing hyperpigmentation and eye shadows in 1-2 months.

I've not heard of Monderma. Is it similar to Skin+Me?

Hi @Debtfreeme
i don’t know if a dupe I’m afraid but there are a fair few being sold on Vinted for good prices if that helps? ( sorry I somehow managed to try to PM you, didn’t mean to!!)

Does anyone else think the minimum spend for GWP has really gone up this year?

Cult Beauty have just launched a nice GWP but the min spend is £175 +, I've noticed the similar with Space NK and Sephora.

Last year I got a really good CB GWP in one of the mesh bags and I swear the min spend was nearly half that to be eligible.

The edit boxes continue to be great value but the GWP not so much.

LightandBreezy · 19/02/2025 13:56

@OvaHere I thought that was a high spend for that Cult Beauty GWP too. I don't really ever go for the Space NK ones anymore as they tend to be lots of tiny sizes and I prefer to have enough product to test properly plus hate that the mini sizes aren't recyclable.

Glad it's not just me. They seem to have crept up significantly. Unless I was in the market for a perfume or other high end product I'd find it quite difficult to put a £175 basket together without buying for the sake of it.

Liberty GWP's have always been around that amount but they were also "worth" considerably more, they were around £350-400 value, although there was a really stingy one last year in early summer IIRC. I'm grateful for the lack of temptation tbh, I won't need anything for months thanks to various GWP's and advent calendars!

OvaHere · 19/02/2025 14:49

@LightandBreezy Lack of temptation is never a bad thing. 😂

Not that I want to enable you or anything, but minis are recyclable.
I've been using the Boots recycle programme for the past few months, and it's pretty good, albeit a bit of a faff as, for every 5 items you recycle, you have to spend £10 to get 500 Advantage Card points (worth £5) So it's good if you're spending in Boots anyway, and it does accept all kinds of things that are otherwise hard to recycle, including minis.
Recently, I've discovered an app called Recycle:Me which is very similar to Boots, in terms of what it accepts but for this one, you don't have to spend anything. You just send off 5 items (Royal Mail will collect from your doorstep) and you get £5 credit with Look Fantastic or Cult Beauty. I've sent off a couple of parcels in the last week and I'm just waiting for the credit to hit my account (I chose Look Fantastic) so I don't want to fully endorse it as I've not been through the whole process yet, but so far, so good!

OvaHere · 19/02/2025 15:44

Thanks @Roundaboot I'll give that a try. I have a box of empties I haven't got round to doing anything with.

Youreabadbanana · 19/02/2025 16:06

I wonder how many vouchers you can use per purchase? The website doesn't say
