Update from my order from Hearst magazine, I'm very impressed with the Harpers Bazaar box I got at the sale offer price. Beautiful presentation and really nice products. I must remember to buy again when they next have a new edit in the sales. I also ordered the Red magazine beauty box, only because it was an excellent price. On its own it is a very good edit and great value too, but not as beautifully presented as the Harpers Bazaar one. No regrets buying both.
I'm waiting on delivery of a reasonably sized (to me) order from Mintd, having been persuaded by the reduced prices, a free gift with purchase and a 5% off voucher. Still expensive though compared to other boxes, no denying that. I worked out this order will have 28 items at around £11.50/each. Good value in theory, but this is actually a lot, lot more per item than my usual purchases through beauty boxes. On the plus side I definitely absolutely like the majority of products.
Planning on mixing up all of the above for my December AC, sell or gift any excess and get DH to hide the lot until 1st December so I can forget all about it.
I don't want to buy anything else apart from toothpaste and soap for another year. The only potential purchase might be the big Christmas box from BBC in November if they will do it again. They have been brilliant boxes the last two years but I haven't yet decided if they are worth my money again after all the dreadful stories on here. They are in the dog house for now.
I've completely gone off LiB, they don't appeal to me at all anymore and I'm not tempted by any other companies right now. Maybe I'm temporarily cured of beauty boxes.
