Let’s not over think - we’ll just get it ??! 😳

Haha, that is my thought process exactly and telling myself it’s a bargain as getting £100 worth of products for free.
@OvaHere thanks for the info on the lip mask, I am using Laneige at the moment and struggling to understand what the fuss is about, I assume the flavours and influencers have helped the brand.

Oh it's definitely a great deal and if I'd known they did this earlier I'd have factored it in and waited until now to buy any Tatcha products at all.

OvaHere · 05/01/2025 19:47

@MrsBnow12 I still quite like the Laniege lip mask but the texture and softness of the Tatcha one is superior IMO and the pot with little spatula is lovely. When it's done I'll wash out and save it for decanting other creams for travel.

MrsBnow12 · 05/01/2025 20:08

@OvaHere I never knew about it either and am trying to decide if it is worth it to buy an advent this year or just get the various beauty boxes and offers like this instead.
I have really struggled with dry lips this winter and am trying anything to stop them being so dry and flaky, very unusual for me and not something I have struggled with in the past.

My basket is £104, I was trying to keep it as close to £100.

I’ve the dewy cream and cleansing balm - so £107.. even if I only get 2 more product in the deal, it should be justifiable ….

  • The Kissu Mask (5g version of it vs. full-size version is $29) ~estimated value: $15

@OvaHere @BlueLimeRun

I found this for the 2024 UK bags

The £100 lucky bag contains: Camellia Cleansing Oil 150ml, Rice Polish: Classic 15g, Silk Cream 15ml

£200 lucky bag contains: Rice polish: Classic 15g, Silk Cream 15ml, The Essence 75ml and The Dewy Serum 30g

Its very different from the USA versions.

Thanks. I hadn't been able to find any examples of the UK bags. They don't seem quite as generous as the US ones but still a great GWP.

The tricky bit is trying to second guess what will be in them so hopefully we're not duping our purchases too much. I had a travel size Silk Cream in my basket but that seems to be a really common item across numerous years lucky bags. That said if it was in last years they might switch it up so maybe I should put it back!

Decisions! 😂

OvaHere · 05/01/2025 20:39

Actually that's a bit unfair - it's the same value as the US ones they just added a full size to the £100 rather than all minis.

Is it the same products for everyone ?

I think that’s good.
Great detective work !

MrsBnow12 · 05/01/2025 20:42

from the thread with the details on it I think people preferred the £100mone and were also not impressed with the US200 one due to the full size item which if you didn’t like accounted for a large value of the gwp.

OvaHere · 05/01/2025 20:47

@BlueLimeRun The US version from what I can gather had a couple of variations for each tier but that might not apply here.

I'm tempted by the £200 one because it could have some of their new product line (hence the orange bags). I'm know I'm being ridiculous though because I don't even need the £100 version never mind spending more.

MrsBnow12 · 05/01/2025 21:00

It is so hard to know which one as they will probably sell out before the first reveals are on social media.
I am planning on going for the £100 but may add the £200 to my list for January 2026 planned purchases.

BlueLimeRun · 05/01/2025 21:05

@OvaHere im really going to try and stick yo £100 but the £200 is tempting. Thanks for posting about it.
@MrsBnow12 they should just say what’s in each - they’d probably sell more…

OvaHere · 05/01/2025 21:11

@BlueLimeRun @MrsBnow12 I feel like the £100 version could have the Indigo Cleansing Balm as the main item seeing as it was the oil last year and the balm was launched in the UK this year - they are the same or similar price point. As much as I like it I still have a quarter left of the pot I'm using and a back up. I can't be sure though which I suppose is the point of a lucky dip. 😂

I have not tried the indigo balm so would be delighted if it was included, not that I need another balm cleanser as currently love the Then I Met You one and bought the beauty pie one to try. I have a thing for cleansers 🫣

BlueLimeRun · 05/01/2025 21:28

@OvaHere hmm in that case I might order the dewy cream and the night cream. I don’t want to risk doubling up on cleansers.

If I'm wrong though you won't have the cleanser you wanted. Although there probably will be quite a few on Vinted! If I'm right that is.

Me too. I have so many cleansers to work through. I'm a sucker for them and I'm not sure why. I guess we can be proud of our squeaky clean faces though. 😂

OvaHere · 05/01/2025 22:09

@MrsBnow12 Is the Beauty Pie one the Apricot Plantastic one? I had to give that one away as it trigger my rosacea. It was nice though so I'm sure if you don't have the same skin triggers it will be fine. I've eyed up the Then I Met You one before but never bought as yet.

Currently I have 5 cleansers on the go which I alternate depending on how I feel.

The Tatcha balm and the oil for an evening double cleanse or removing make up.

Glow Recipe Avocado cleansing wash (a fave, would RP but the container is a pain to squeeze).

Beauty Pie Japanfusion cleanser which is their Tatcha Rice dupe (I'm meh about this one, it's okay but not sure I will RP)

A mini Drunk Elephant Beste Jelly Cleanser from an AC (It's fine but being fragrance free means it smells a bit like soggy paper, wouldn't RP as I prefer the Dermatica glycerin cleanser for the AM)

OvaHere · 05/01/2025 22:11

Actually 6 because I have a Rituals cleanser I keep in the shower for days I'm in a hurry. 😳

MrsBnow12 · 05/01/2025 22:28

@OvaHere No it is the Beauty Pie Super Healthy Skin cleansing balm, I need to finish the TIMY before I open it.
If if makes you feel better I have 5 open, the TIMY balm, the Medik8 cleansing oil, Decree light cleanser, Kate Somerville Goat Milk, Byoma creamy gel and Gallinee foaming cleanser!
actually that is also 6 🤭🤭😱

BlueLimeRun · 06/01/2025 06:58

I’ve 4 😳
Votary - very nice morning cleanser.
Gatineau radiance cleanser - it’s ok
Elemis balm - love it and repeat purchase often.
Cerave - oil to foam - very good.

I have more face creams on the go ….
