Work top- very specific requirements.

No loud patterns.
No massive flowers.
Blue or dark green preferred
Ideally none of those long dangling neck ties.
Not fitted.

Basically a non descript but smart top I can throw on in a hurry.

I have looked at m&s, h&m, fat face, hobbs, next, phase 8, tried to look at wallis but their website is awful, have had luck in the past at Crew but nothing there today.

What makes it non iron for you? I haven't ironed in a decade, just wash and hang on a hanger to dry so anywhere would do for me. I got a great top from Amazon last week. When I was working I had a 'uniform' of black linen trousers and a pin tuck blouse in 6 different colours / patterns.

I used to have 5 rayon Uniqlo blouses for work in deep green, aubergine, and navy. They always sell at least one blouse like this and they are fine. Totally nondescript and crease free. (I had to get them for work travel as I was always living out of a bag.)

Satin blouses - I’ve just bought one from M&S.

I’m also a fan of eBay for hardly worn blouses - I got a nice black Whistles one recently, non-iron. My go to brands are Whistles, Joules, Boden and LK Bennett.

Pleasure! I have about 6 or 7 tops from this brand as they wear well and are good for work and evenings out. The only thing is that they are polyester in the main so potentially a bit sweaty if that’s an issue but I’ve not had any issues so far.

I have this too! It’s lovely, slightly see through though if anyone’s concerned by that but fine for an evening out or work with cami under.
