Blue or dark green preferred
Ideally none of those long dangling neck ties.
Not fitted.

Basically a non descript but smart top I can throw on in a hurry.

I have looked at m&s, h&m, fat face, hobbs, next, phase 8, tried to look at wallis but their website is awful, have had luck in the past at Crew but nothing there today.

14/16 depending on the bust measurements willing to pay £70 if it's good

If you like this one, try looking at boat neck tops. Very inoffensive style for officewear. Modal or merino wool depending on how much you want to spend. Wool is the bees knees for staying wrinkle free. Fine knit merino is thin and easy to style as a top rather than a jumper. It does need special washing though.

Not boat neck but it's hard to beat Uniqlo for affordable merino wool jumpers. You can size down for a non-sweater look. I tend to wear them with Uniqlo's airism vests underneath. Look at the size charts first though because their sizes can be a bit screwy.

I have the rayon and satin blouses from Uniqlo, I would recommend both but they do need ironing. The rayon one in particular creases easily
