Vinted sellers delivery times

Hi everyone,

I've been using Vinted a lot recently to sell and buy, I think it's great. But I am finding it really annoying when sellers literally send things the day before the deadline date. I have a number of items which haven't been sent and the deadline is the 7th Oct.

I've not said anything in the past, I've just not left any feedback. However Vinted l automatic feedback for the seller which is always five stars, I don't want that to happen with sellers who are ridiculously slow with delivery. Does anyone know who I stop the automatic feedback?

I always send my packages within 1-2 days. I'd feel really bad leaving it so late to send something.

A late bump but I have experienced peak CF on vinted. It does feel like the majority of sellers wait until the last day to ship which is mildly frustrating but within the terms.

I received an order this morning from a seller that posted on the last day and within 20 minutes of the order reaching me she has asked that I accept the item to release her money.

I'm currently sitting on two packages. Both bought Saturday morning and both chose RM. I couldn't get to my local PO before it closed at midday on Saturday, and my Monday and Tuesday at work this week are early starts and late finishes. When the buyers bought I let them know that it might be Wednesday before I could post. This is just the reality of selling as someone who works, Vinted isn't my main job. The deadline is what the platform has decided is acceptable. Sooner is nice, but not a requirement.

I think people are just so used to next day delivery that they forget they are dealing with a regular person and not a big company.
Im currently waiting on a jacket that will pass the due date because the person went on holiday. They let me know and if we have to rearrange things its not a problem.
I dont expect them jump through hoops for me, esp not for something that has been on Vinted (and hanging around their closet) for months!

It can depend on the postal service you use too. If someone buys using inpost I normally send next day as it is super convenient. Other options might involve needing to get to a store during opening hours which I can't always do.
