Wide legged jeans

I’m trying to find some wide legged jeans. I’ve fallen in love with these from Me&Em but they are so expensive. Has anyone seen anything similar for a less eye-watering price?

I picked up some size 10 in black, long. They were a bit big round the waist and trailed on the floor. So I went back but they didn’t have a regular 10 in black so I tried on regular in blue and size 10 fit lovely lol. So I ended up getting a 10 in blue and a size 8 in the black lol

Yup. They never have my size in store or on line.
I think this is the third time I've moaned on this thread alone.
I think they are missing out on the £ from many people who are happy to spend.

The 2 Zara pairs I ordered are indeed too short and they only do 1 length (which FYI will be perfect for someone 5'6" or even 5'7" with flats.

My M&S ones just turned up...

I am really pleased. I carry weight on my tummy, including a bit of an overhang from a combination of extra weight and c-sections so I think I'll stick with tops/jumpers that hit around the hip as that lower belly is not obvious, but not hidden either or, for bigger occasions, perhaps much better underwear! . But the front is nice and I really feel the way they fall from the hip is lovely. They also look fabulous with my new pointy-toed brown suede ankle boots I just bought on a sale!

@CharlotteBog good to know-thanks for posting. I fancied the Zara high waist ones but wondered how they would fit as the model has them slung low on her hips.

Whistles also do a side fastening pair of jeans, but they're almost out of stock now!

My black m and s ones arrived yesterday and I'm thrilled with them.
So I have both colours now - set with jeans for a while!

Me&Em didn’t have the palazzo in store but I have tried the kick flare ones for size and length. They were also lovely with a side zip. I am very tempted.

They have phone chargers in their changing rooms. I’d shop in there for that alone.

Just do it. Honestly. It's not a spontaneous purchase. If you can afford it, do it.

Many years ago, after endless deliberation i bought a pair of boots that were Italian leather from some fancy Italian brand. They cost the equivalent of my share of the mortgage.... I never ever regretted that purchase. Wore them constantly for 3 years!!.

I’d like to try the palazzo on before deciding but they are now online only. I might just try the Levis on too before committing!
