Prince William oit and aboit and supported by cousins Ladies Kitty, Eliza and Amelia Spencer at Centrepoint Awards.

There’s a lot going on in the print on Lady Kitty’s dress. I like the top but I’m not keen on that printed look on the skirt

SqueakyDinosaur · 17/10/2024 14:49

It's presumably Dolce & Gabbana, as she is their "muse", isn't she?

ArdMhaca · 17/10/2024 17:09

Mathilde in formal wear could pass for a turn of the century American matriarch of a wealthy family

Aren't the Spencer girls beautiful.
They had a very privileged life but it may not have been easy.
Fair play to Victoria as she appears to have been the main carer in South Africa.

The Monegasque Rugby Federation, in partnership with the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, organized a creative competition that involved more than 80 student volunteers from Collège Charles III. This competition, open to students in grades 6, 5, 4, and 3, aimed to design the new jersey for the Impis U16 team, founded by Princess Charlene of Monaco.

lifted from New My Royals, but my word isn’t Charlene living her best Monegasque life these days.

Yes, @ArdMhaca , and it's really lovely to see after she had such a tough time. She's glowing in these pictures, and her hair and makeup are great. I like her suit.

Oh my goodness what a wonderful change! She looks happy, healthy and well.

KillingMeDeftIy · 17/10/2024 20:55

I would still love to hear the dirt on her marriage to Albert though! Is it a case of "we've got the heir and the spare so let's just do our own thing"?

Papergirl1968 · 17/10/2024 20:56

Leti at a mental health conference and on an engagement with Felipe, and Fergie opening a breast cancer diagnostic centre.

‘Most Odd’ is the title of our new thread 😂

SqueakyDinosaur · 17/10/2024 21:56

Also, reading that People piece confirms me in my opinion of Charles Spencer. You don't hire Fiona Shackleton as your divorce lawyer if you truly wish your soon-to-be ex-wife #3 "every happiness in the future".

NEVER A TRUER WORD SPOKEN

He and Karen separated in June and he announced that he was going to devote himself to his kids and grandkids didn't he? Clearly that was short-lived devotion!

I suspect he isn't someone you'd want as a relative.

KillingMeDeftIy · 17/10/2024 22:34

He wasn't at either of his daughters' weddings. I've not read his book but I do have sympathy for what he went through as a child, plus the Spencer's seem to have been as dysfunctional as the Windsors.

DuchessOfPort · 17/10/2024 22:52

I think it was on here someone said something about Rev Richard Coles’ Madness of Grief - I read it and Earl Spencer’s Christmas invitation to him so very close to the death of RRC’s husband (between the death and the funeral) seems to have been heartfelt, generous and sensitive. Nothing I would have necessarily have associated with his personality before. But a) isn’t she River Kings lady? And b) how much has he lost already to divorce lawyers. Why does he get married?! He can’t even manage good manners in the wedding speech if you count his one at his first wedding. Why does he keep having children that to all intents and purposes can’t stand him. Why won’t he learn?!

But he did do well with Reverend Richard Coles at a very shitty time.

Eaumyword · 17/10/2024 23:06

Leti looks great in her sharp grey trouser suit.
Char looks stylish and happy!
Love that throwback photo of Max. If that photo was black and white, she'd look like a 1950's debutante! She looks very pretty.
Won't comment on Charles Spencer but the emoji's will...🤨🙄

I've just watched and enjoyedi the Maxima series so it is nice to see the young Max there.

Ooh lucky you. Is it available in the UK?

StartupRepair · 17/10/2024 23:50

I'm in Australia so saw it on a platform here. It was a bit long and indulgent - lots of repeated slow mo of them dancing but it addressed the issues around her father and was a good watch overall.
