Plus size 32 upwards, retail websites, please?

'Yours', Evans, Simply Be and Curvewow say they cater for dress sizes up to 36 but in reality 95% of their clothes stop at size 32.

I know about Ulla Popken.

Are there any other online retailers for ladies over a plus size 32?

I don’t think there are any firms catering for this size. American firms must do. I think anyone this size would have to have them made. There are firms which make very large sizes for men, but it is more difficult for women.
Looking at Yours, a lot of their clothes do go up to 40.

Amazon essentials (I think their 6xl is a 32/34 equivalent (I buy 3xl and am a 22 on top, but like v. baggy tops) I've been very impressed by the quality of the hoodies, fleeces and t.shirts.

Doh, that'll teach me not to read properly, I'm afraid I don't wear dresses so don't know on that front, I have a couple of long denim skirts (again off Amazon) but I don't know what size they go up to).

In my op I said I am looking for retailers who sell clothes over a size 32. Specifically I'm looking for size 36 to 40. This is for my neighbour who is not good at using the internet.

Lane Bryant in US, pricy but clothes and underwear are amazing quality and last.

90% of their clothes only go up to size 32.

I just had a look and it turns out they ship to the UK.

So I clicked on a random dozen items and none of them were available in a size bigger than 32 and in some cases 28. The site has no way to "search by size" and when I searched for "skirt" it returned zero results, which cannot be right!

Curvewow has some c options in 34-36 best beyond that I'm struggling to find much of anything to help I'm afraid, looks like options will be very limited

Universal Standard ho up to that size. Expensive but they have hood sales and ship to the UK.

No she's not housebound. We live in a small town and there are no shops here that sell plus size.

She did explore men's clothes and has got some 8XL t-shirts but of course with the trousers they're not female fit (ie a woman has a smaller waist and hips and much much shorter legs than men). Also she would like to wear nice summer flowery dresses, skirts, pretty blouses etc.

American sizing is different. A sise 32 USA is a size 36 UK.

Sizes are usually 2 sizes smaller. So a UK 20 is a USA 16.

Also theres loads on the yours website over a size 32. Just filter by size. 130+ dresses above 32.

I'm glad she's able to be up and about.

My suggestion would be to get a sewing machine and make simple dresses.

It might be worth seeing if Torrid ships to the UK, I'm fairly certain they go up to larger sizes than most retailers and most certainly sell nice dresses/ blouses. May be worth a peek?

Yours has a few flowery dresses in size 40. This also comes in other colours and patterns.

Yes, as I said about 10% of their range goes up to a size 40. But what woman wants to be restricted in choice to only 10% of one shop?
