'Yours', Evans, Simply Be and Curvewow say they cater for dress sizes up to 36 but in reality 95% of their clothes stop at size 32.

I know about Ulla Popken.

Are there any other online retailers for ladies over a plus size 32?

Yes, as I said about 10% of their range goes up to a size 40. But what woman wants to be restricted in choice to only 10% of one shop?

Well at her size she doesn’t have much choice and may have to make the best of a bad situation. If she fancies a green dress, but they only have it in blue in her size, then she might be better off buying the blue than having nothing to wear.

I get that it’s not easy. But as they say, if you’re normal size, you look to see what they’ve got that you like. If you’re plus size, you look to see what fits.

US dress size 28 is equal to uk 32, so the US sites do have bigger sizes, you need a 32 to 36 for a UK 36-40.

Unfortunately this is the reality. At my largest (UK 28) I had very little choice re buying clothes. If I found for instance a t shirt that fitted I bought several of them.

This is the reality of life at plus size unfortunately.

That Pureplus site sure is strange! I searched for SKIRT got only one hit and it's not even a skirt! LOL

Is there a local seamstress who could make some dresses. I would imagine there are lots of patterns available online and then it's a case of choosing fabric
