Which nails look classiest for holidays?

I always struggle picking what nails to have!

One thing is I don't like them to look tacky - which design looks classiest?

I get my nails done like this but a bit more rounded. Don't like long nails.

Tbh if you are looking for class then just keep your own natural nails healthy and well groomed and steer clear of acrylics and gels altogether.

This thread demonstrates that there's no consensus on what is "classy". And ultimately, who cares? Have your nails done the way YOU like them. Doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

Pointed nails look aggressive to me and, personally, I find them naff.

Pointy is not classy, as they so obviously aren't your own nails. It is the equivalent of heavy false eyelashes, which might be currently in fashion, but that doesn't make them classy.

2nd photo much nicer and more classic. Long pointy nails look fake, like overdone eyelashes.

Yes I agree.
Pointy are more current but classy they are not so it depends what you prefer.
Personally I keep mine short and squoval then usually go for a bright colour which will show against a tan. I'm aware that's not classy though!

I much prefer the French manicure look, the first one is too talon-like for my liking

Both would look lovely with a tan/golden glow (however this is achieved!)

Just personal preference, I much prefer to keep my nails on the short side!

no judgement by the way, I have very tacky nails. I just know that they are.

@excelledyourself has definitely had the nicest nails so far. Natural and short will always be classiest but if your natural nails aren't in a good condition then have them painted in one low-key colour (not ombre, not French tips) with a natural shape.

I personally prefer short and polished like this

The square ones with white tips just aren't very in anymore - they're quite 2000.
The almond shaped ones are very fashionable now. I also think they look lovely!
