I like it!

StasisMom · 21/08/2024 16:53

But weddings can hugely vary, so I appreciate it may not be suitable for all.

Shibr · 21/08/2024 16:57

I really like it. I think it would look good with flats and simple earrings. I take it that this is for a summer wedding, otherwise you might want to think about black opaque tights and a cape style coat (puff sleeves are a nightmare to put a jacket over!).

I wouldn’t pair with stilettos and any form of headwear, or bright accessories as I think it would make the dress look a bit dated.

Quitelikeacatslife · 21/08/2024 17:10

Depends on how you style it, and the type of wedding, it's very young, that's not a bad thing just that is the vibe

Bignanna · 21/08/2024 17:35

Depends what size OP is. It looks very short!

guinnesschocolatecake · 21/08/2024 17:42

More a party than wedding guest dress, I reckon. Would wear something else unless couple is very young and wedding quite informal. Mostly due to length.

Timeforaglassofwine · 21/08/2024 17:44

No - Bett Lynch vibes. I don't mind an element of leopard, but that's too much.

Magien · 21/08/2024 19:36

I wouldn't personally.

Sunplanner · 21/08/2024 20:03

It's very "Look at me!" Not normally polite to do that at a wedding.

cupcaske123 · 21/08/2024 20:06

Not my taste at all.

BebbanburgIsMine · 21/08/2024 20:10

No, I wouldn't.

I hate any kind of leopard/animal print, I just think it's looks so cheap and tacky.

My clothes budget is Asda or Vinted, so I'm not being snooty, just don't like animal print anything.

Overtheatlantic · 21/08/2024 20:12

Awful and you will be pulling it down all day.

I think animal print can work ok but I’d agree there’s a risk of tackiness so it has to be a very pared down style and great quality fabric ( so bags and shoes work well). This definitely isn’t a pared-down style and it doesn’t strike me as a wedding guest vibe. It’s more a party dress .

FilthyRich · 21/08/2024 20:22

I wouldn't wear it anywhere.

Theres a lot of the “ look at me” vibe seems to go on with wedding guest dress threads on Mn. Not saying this is the worst example ( it’s not by a long stretch) but I always think it looks like a last minute desperate attempt to hook the groom’😂

NewName24 · 21/08/2024 20:27

Not for me, but I do appreciate the young women of today don't associate it with Bet Lynch and it is very fashionable at the moment (at a recent party, 3 young people were expressing their inner Shania Twain).

I'm more concerned that it appears to be very short.

BirthdeighParteigh · 21/08/2024 20:30

I wouldn’t. It’s a party dress, and very short.

SauviGone · 21/08/2024 20:37

No, not suitable at all.

Idontjetwashthefucker · 21/08/2024 20:42

It looks like a child's dress!

CanYouHearThatNoise · 21/08/2024 20:44

It's horrible. Too short, too. Not at all suitable for a wedding, unless it's a drag queen who is getting married

I agree with this. I love Leopard print but this is very much a party dress, not a wedding dress. I love that dress but would not wear it to wedding. Fabulous for a party or night out though.

Pieceofpurplesky · 21/08/2024 21:02

I like the dress but not how it's styled with the ankle socks. In winter with tights and flats it would look better.

henlake7 · 21/08/2024 21:05

It's cute. Probably not suitable for a traditional wedding but if it's a more fun vibe (and you are young enough to pull it off!) then go for it!

2AND2GC · 21/08/2024 21:12

It looks very short to me. Perhaps a little bit inappropriate for a wedding. I'd just be concerned that you don't want to come across bit immodest or attention-grabbing.

No problem with leopard if it's an appropriate dress otherwise!

This is a nice leopard dress, suitable (in my opinion) for a wedding:

It would be nice with gold strappy sandals or black sling-back kitten heels?

Whatever you wear I hope you all have a super celebration xx
