Autumn wardrobe inspiration

So...I usually go high street shopping and buy random bits and pieces and then struggle to put outfits together. This year I would love to be a bit more purposeful about it and actually put a seasonal edit together from interesting brands. What I'd like is:
2 comfy and cosy work from home outfits.
2 casual weekend outfits
2 smarter night out outfits
Happy to buy quality (although usually balk at over priced designer stuff). I like simple and classic designs (no fussy details) but happy with colour. Also want shoes to go with it.
Please hit me up with any outfit suggestions or inspiration for brands/retailers that could work. If it matters I'm a size 12 but heavier on the bottom so tend to avoid thigh skimming or body con.

Height and budget are generally useful if you want more tailored suggestions …

Thanks for replies so far. I like the idea of Cos but don't often find much I like. It's often too tailored or floaty somehow. Sorry, not a great explanation! I'm 5ft6 and budget is flexible. Like a bargain but also like good quality so a mix of high street and mid-range.

I tend to look at trends and see what I already have in the archives. As it’s been so warm recently, most of my smart blazers and jacket’s haven’t had an outing. I’m hoping the 2 quilted jackets (blue with embroidery and black with beading) will get worn in Sept/October.

The current Zara and H&M lack colour and I’m going to go against the grain and add a splash of colour wherever I can. Long denim skirts are still about and a line and knee length are set to make a comeback. I can probably rock that without buying anything. I have the most lovely camel wool blazer that I’ve owned for nearly 30 years. It needs to be worn again soon as it really suits me.

Ok - Cos too cheap! Not floaty, but not tailored either?

Few places that may or may not appeal:

Teurn Studios
Rohe
RUS
Studio Nicholson
Lisa Yang
Margaret Howell
La Fetiche
Eat Dust Clothing
Colenimo

That seems a really random collection - trying to avoid needlessly serious prices and without a clear idea of what you have in mind! But they’re each quite particular looks.

(You sound like someone who would have loved Raey @ Matches …)

Wow thanks @IWantedThereThereButItsGone that's all brands I have never heard of before but fit what I like to wear. That's exactly what u was hoping for - some new inspiration on where to shop. Only had time for a quick look but Rohe and RUS particularly have some lovely stuff.

How about Ninety Percent? Their fabrics are lovely with beautifully draping.

How about Arket?

Ooh yes that reminds me how much I like Arket. Will check out Ninety Percent now.
