I got a separate email with my loyalty voucher (yesterday) and a card version in the post (today)

kenyaswhiterefrigerator · 07/01/2025 10:06

There's a new Beauty Hall of fame kit out - looks quite good content wise if anyone wants to have a look

Toffeesaucey · 07/01/2025 10:29

Caved and bought it. Lots of really good skincare.

IDontHateRainbows · 07/01/2025 10:42

Still got loads of skincare from the advents so think I'll pass on this one .
Now if they do another scent kit...

Growlybear83 · 07/01/2025 10:46

I had never realised that they sent out birthday vouchers until I read this. My birthday was a month ago, and I went through my inbox at the weekend and deleted about 30,000 emails, so would have deleted this one. Do they send it to all beauty drop members? And is it for £10? I already had to ring them yesterday to request the code for the £25 voucher they sent for the dodgy candle in the advent calendar, so I may have to contact them again 😆

Did your 10% Beauty Drop discount show? It's not for me at the moment, and I don't want to get it without it and have to claim it back with yet another voucher!

AprilLady · 07/01/2025 11:09

@howlsmovingbouncycastle add it to your basket - I think there is a glitch at the moment as it actually gives me 20% off when I add it to mine once I have logged in.

Despite this, I’m going to resist given my current stash.

It’s £5. I wouldn’t bother if I were you.

Toffeesaucey · 07/01/2025 11:14

Yes, thinking about it, I payed £149 something before I added in my account credit. £149 was less than I expected to pay so definitely a glitch at the moment.

It's showing at £149.85 which is probably a 20% discount.

NearlyNewHip · 07/01/2025 11:17

Think I'm going to go for the beauty kit. its my birthday beginning of next month and it'll be my present to me x ordered and it was 149.85 as with the other ladies woohooo

howlsmovingbouncycastle · 07/01/2025 11:43

I was in two minds, but the extra discount sold it to me, and with beauty drop credit, plus my £25 voucher for the dodgy candle in the advent calendar and my loyalty voucher, it was practically free!

visualfeast · 07/01/2025 14:52

I wasn’t going to buy it and then saw the extra discount, plus I had a birthday voucher - it’s a good kit, I just wish it came with a toiletries bag and not a box! Treating it as an early birthday present for myself!

narniabusiness · 07/01/2025 15:59

That has the mascara I actually want, but they don’t have in stock separately. I would use the other things but I already have a reasonable supply of things after Christmas. Decisions, decisions…

BakeOffRewatch · 07/01/2025 16:02

Spoiler blurred out image of the beauty drop on instagram here, though no spoilers on this thread until despatch date 16th Jan www.instagram.com/p/DEhVR_qMAVC/ there’s guessing in the comments of the post

One of the comment is no more elasticiser… I agree, it’s in the Hall of Fame again too! I have so many hair masks to get through.

Link to Hall of Fame kit £185 . Shows as £149.85 in my basket too. www.libertylondon.com/uk/beauty-hall-of-fame-kit-000831657.html

I’d like a bag rather than a box though. That goes straight in recycling.

Primrosespaw · 07/01/2025 17:59

I have cracked and bought the new kit. Lots I will use but will need to gift the retinol and oils as my skin can’t take them. I had a £60 voucher, so not bad price for the haul. Really looking forward to the next box drop.

MrsBnow12 · 07/01/2025 18:51

I am still trying to sit on my hands and not press the buy button. I don’t need any of the skincare as stocked up from advents but would love the lipstick and mascara.
Hope it sells out soon so as not to tempt me.

Wouldn’t it just be cheaper to buy the mascara and lipstick? They’ll be on eBay or Vinted soon.

That is what I am planning on doing.

Blisterly · 07/01/2025 23:05

Am I the only one who was disappointed by the kit? It’s all the same stuff (they’re really pushing the Skin Rocks), tempting as the make up is, it’s actually pretty cheap to buy (Lisa Eldridge had 10% off before and after Christmas). It feels like they’re flogging all the leftovers. Can we have something new please? And not bloody stuff we can buy in boots in the train station!!

WeAreBorg · 07/01/2025 23:08

For the first time in my life I am not even remotely tempted. What has happened? Am I ill?

No, you’re not ill. I’m not remotely tempted, I need a selection of products I’m going to use more than half of to be tempted.

OvaHere · 07/01/2025 23:26

This is the equation I try to apply to kits. I try to tell myself I have to be really interested in a minimum of 50 % before I can consider it.

I am a bit tempted by the latest SpaceNK one for £95 but I can't really justify that either.

IDontHateRainbows · 08/01/2025 05:28

I was disappointed by the offering too. It's premium advent calendar price but half the contents. Maybe the ACs have spoilt us.

And what's with the £425 scent edit? Some lovely perfumes in there but I'd need to remortgage my house! What are you playing at Liberty!!

BlueLimeRun · 08/01/2025 06:41

Agree, not enough if use and really don’t want the skin rocks items (or hair stuff).
