Well obviously there are going to be a few people who have different requirements but the majority don't. Why do people have to take things so personally?

I live in a country which has far more hot weather than the UK does, and I no-one I know is a super sweater, so I imagine the majority of people on MN aren't either.

As I have already pointed out, there are advisory segments on TV here telling people they don't need to wash clothes as often as they think they do - so I imagine they are also catering to the majority. But no doubt if you lived here you would deem it necessary to write and complain. Incidentally, I probably could wear my socks more than once as my feet don't sweat much either, I just think that as they have been encased in shoes for most of the day they could do with a wash - and if you bothered to actually read this thread you would see that nearly every post mentions daily changing of socks.

Where exactly? If the koala in your username is anything to go by, I DO live there and have absolutely no idea what you're talking about with the TV ads.

I certainly didn't take what you said personally, I'm just pointing out the ridiculousness of your claim that anyone whose tshirt isn't fresh after 48 hours needs different deodorant. Again, you're not the expert on everyone else, even if you pretend to be with your "nobody I know" claims on this and other threads. As if everyone you know has discussed with you whether or not their deodorant lasts a whole day or longer. Can you not just add your own experiences without having to imply that people are somehow lesser if they're not the same as you?

It's unusual (but nice!) to have a thread about rewearing clothes where despite some differing opinions no one is being labelled filthy, grim or vile for wearing a hoodie a few times, or thinking it's OK to wear a tshirt again if it's not dirty!

The koala in my name has nothing to do with where I live - no, it's not Australia.

As for my comments, as often happens on MN several people make a comment and then a poster singles out ONE of them to argue with. I do hope I'm wrong and you have taken exception to others who have stated the same thing.

Maybe stop being so sensitive is all I can say.

Jumpers, some dresses, jeans sometimes. I find that clothes next to your skin need to be washed.
