Most things tbh. I can't understand people who wash literally everything after a single wear, it's shit for both the clothes and the environment (and I bloody hate doing laundry, my mind is boggled by people on here doing multiple loads a day). The only things I always wash every wear is undies, socks, workout clothes. Everything else gets at least 2-3 wears.

Same.
I am a chilly person and not sweaty, unless I’ve been walking somewhere muddy or gardening my clothes are still clean after one wear.

MollyAndMuck · 13/07/2024 18:53

I'm surprised at the amount of people wearing tops more than once. Everything else I'd be fine with (apart from a dress with nothing under for the same reason).

CrushingOnRubies · 13/07/2024 19:18

Socks, pants, T-shirts (unless only worn for a few hours )

Smartiepants79 · 13/07/2024 19:23

Everything except pants and socks.
Nothing I do day to day would lead to my clothes being dirty enough to not be wearable. Very few people do.

henlake7 · 13/07/2024 19:47

Pants and socks get changed daily, also heavy use workout gear. Usually bra and t shirt too. I don't know how people get so many wears out of their bras though....mine always gets sweaty under the band and underarm area.

I don't consider I get a full days use out of most things so always wear them more then once (might only be 6hrs if im in workout gear first thing and lounge wear/pjs after tea!).

Fifthtimelucky · 13/07/2024 20:22

I agree with knickers and socks. The only thing I'd add is gym clothes.

Tanfastic · 13/07/2024 20:26

I'll have to go against the grain and say the only things I'd consider wearing twice or more are jumpers or jeans. I'm a very sweaty/ clumsy person though and couldn't get away with wearing tops or trousers more than once.

Yep everything except knickers and socks.

And tights. Knickers, socks and tights. (and exercise clothes if the exercise is intense).
So, not even all underwear as I'd happily wear a bra many times, as I would a top if not stinky in the armpits.

I’m not rewearing anything that smells by the end of the day, i.e. pants, socks or any tops worn under a jumper. If it hasn’t been a super hot day I might get away with rewearing summer tops and dresses which are cut so that they hang loose and don’t come into direct skin contact with my underarms.

If your tops smell, try a stronger deodorant. I don't have to wash my tops after each wear.

You need to change your deodorant.

Pretty wasteful to change trousers every day. What are you doing that they get dirty so easily?

twentysevendresses · 13/07/2024 20:52

Knickers and socks here too, with the 'sniff test' in the armpit area for any 'close fitting' tops. Unless I've had a really sweaty day, most tops can be worn twice. Jumpers/cardies/jeans etc can get away with lots of wears.

scrivette · 13/07/2024 20:55

Knickers and socks here too.

Good lord! What are you doing to your trousers and tops that necessitate daily washing?? I get that occasionally you may have to change a top as it's been particularly warm/sweaty, but that's surely a rare occurrence. But trousers? Really?? Not buying it!

Whatwouldnanado · 13/07/2024 16:58

Knickers. I have been known to wear socks for two days. Don’t have sweaty trotters or other conditions and I didn’t die.

Same.

I think I've worn some of my wool jumpers 15-20 times between washes. They're not dirty and don't smell.

Garlicnaan · 13/07/2024 21:01

Gwenhwyfar · 13/07/2024 20:45

Yep. Mitchum stick has changed my washing habits.

I also rarely wear tight fitted clothes, and only wear natural fibres.

Rexona/Sure is better even than Mitchum. The stick ones.

K0OLA1D · 13/07/2024 21:03

Pants, socks and tights are the only thing id wear once. I'd wear everything else again if it wasn't dirty. Leggings and T shirts, probably 2. Jeans and jumpers even longer and skirts, longer still!

BCBird · 13/07/2024 21:05

Gloves, skirt, jacket and underskirt

BrendaSmall · 13/07/2024 21:06

I have clean clothes everyday, I work in care so I get sweaty, even my bra is damp, I have to have a clean top because I cook food and it smells of cooking, even if not at work, my 2 days off I’ll wear the same bottoms twice!

mynameiscalypso · 13/07/2024 21:09

Pants and socks here but I almost always wash my base layer too (t shirt, vest top etc). I'm not massively sweaty but I just feel a bit gross by the end of the day and don't like putting a worn t shirt back on (unless it's only been on for a couple of hours)

DanceMumTaxi · 13/07/2024 21:17

Knickers and socks/tights here too, unless I’ve spilled something on myself. If it’s been hot I’d probably change my top/t-shirt too. Wear jeans absolutely loads of times before they’re washed.

Tanfastic · 13/07/2024 21:19

For those asking why I change my trousers and tops after one day's wear, I have a condition which means I sweat more than the average person so I just don't feel clean if I don't. Yes I do use strong deodorant. I don't smell but I do get damp. I have had an operation to stop my hands sweating but unfortunately there are other areas which it's not really possible. Hope that explains. 😬

youkiddingme · 13/07/2024 21:25

Knickers. Socks get the sniff test.

DirtyCheeseBurger · 13/07/2024 21:25

Not socks, knickers or t shirts/ shirts and leggings. Everything else
