Converse trainers - uncomfortable

How does anyone wear the bloody things? There's no cushioning in the soles whatsoever.
My husband bought me a pair in a sale...I wore them yesterday for a day out and was limping by the time we got home.
I'm going back to my Fitflops.

I love mine, so comfy! I've got the lift ones and the sole is very springy/cushiony so very comfortable. I've also got a pair of the classic high tops which I fell into mud with so put them through the washing machine. Didn't have any other shoes so had to wear them whilst 90% dry and they basically moulded to my feet. They are sooooooo comfortable and I've had them more than 10 years! So perhaps try that lol.

I had a pair when they were known as basketball boots. I hated them then and it doesn’t look like they have improved.
