If you're chunky of thigh, where are your denim shorts from?

I have just put on the denim shorts that I bought last year and have remembered how remarkably unflattering there are.
I'm pear shaped so need a pair which is slightly flared rather than straight (and certainly not sausage like!).
Any recommendations?

AllSaints in a size up.

I usually just buy whatever size fits my thighs and then get the waist taken in.

I got M&S boyfriends denim shorts a couple of years ago. I have thighs abd bum, they're perfect. Long enough not to bunch, short enough not to be unflattering (I find the just above knee-length really look bad on me)
