I read somewhere that Johnny had moved into 'a less public role' but his 3 years in post must be due to end soon anyway.

Johnny works directly for the King 'behind the scenes' now but I can't remember in what capacity.

That's a lovely picture of Felipe and Leonor! He has a very good tailor, as we've said - he should certainly pass their number on to Albert. Nice to see Leti in flat sandals, I hope her feet are recovering, though.

Felipe looks much better than Albert in anything he wears (and probably anything he doesn’t too 😜) but to be fair he’s got better raw material to work with!

Charles and Camilla were visiting Edinburgh Castle and were joined by Edward, Sophie and William for the Order of the Thistle ceremony at the city’s cathedral.

Meanwhile Lady Amelia showed off a new hair cut at the opening of a Barbie exhibition.
She had a cute little house shaped bag.

Amelia is starting to look a lot like her grandmother isn’t she? The duchess during her Wimbledon years.

Yes, there's a strong similarity between Amelia and her grandmother.

Leti looks fabulous. Love that dress! Good to see the royals out and about and nice to see their ice cream palette outfits - Cams has really hit her groove in terms of what suits her.

Max visiting a playground with a striking necklace on, Carole Middleton at Wimbledon with Michael, and Beatrice and Edo at a party thrown by Maria Sharapova. He seems to have gone out in his slippers by accident.

Max looks great, and I like Beatrice's skirt. Ah, Edo doing the posh bloke thing with suede slip ons and no socks.
Carole looks nice, although I don't think the shoes really match the outfit.

I like Carole's sunglasses, but really dislike that jacket she's wearing - the huge shoulders are awful.

Fabulous new portrait taken in Edinburgh this week as Camilla and Edward were granted the Order of the Thistle.

Charles doesn't look well in that Thistle photo.

I just have the feeling that Charles and Camilla are going through the motions much of the time. I don’t think either of them want the life they have, and I suspect Charles knows he’s on borrowed time.

We don't know what they're thinking. We do know that Charles has been ill, and that Camilla and others have stepped up, and carried out duties properly and with good grace.
On another note - I would agree with pp that Cams has definitely found her style groove.
